JULY VISA BULLETIN -Again predict the movement, it dont hurt.

Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone knows the answer to this ..there is a possibility that I may become current in next few months i.e to file for 485. I understand that we have to do our medicals and take few shots ..however we are expecting our second child ...what can be done in this case ..I dont know if my wife can take the shots now ..what can be done in this case ..can we file for 485 without medicals for my wife ..our aim is to get a EAD at the very least ..please reply ...it will be appreciated

Get the medical certificate from your home country. It will be much cheapter than all other routes. If I were in position,

1. I would not take risk of my wife taking shot.
2. I don't want to wait filing.
3. I don't want RFE from USCIS.

To achieve above 3, I would do whatever I can. I MEAN WHATEVER.

I've heard that they won't accept immunization records from some countries because of the high incidence of fraud from those countries. So that may not be an option.

However, if the guy's wife had the immunizations, some of them are possible to verify with a blood test.

can someone call and find out

someone LAST YEAR called up and got an update on when the visa bulletin will be out. Might work this time too.
"I called the no. 202 663-1541 and talked to a visa bulletin specialist. She told me the June bulletin will be published only in the next week."

If you are not in office (or can call from your office) try that number and see if they tell when the next bulletin will be published.

Folks the visa bulletin is published usually by middle of the month. So expect something to cheer you up or "same-old-same" before the week ends ( ... assuming years of wait and hearing bad news has immunised you like me).

By the superior powers vested in me ... I proclaim the dates won't change ... dil pe maat ley yaar!

PBEC, Jack,
Thanks for your replies. I appreciate the same.
taking shots in not an option, hopefully my lawyer will have some other option too.

all you need is to fill out waiver, I am surpriced your lawyer did'nt mention this to you as this is very common,

your wife does'nt even need to be pregnant to do this, you can just say she might be.

you will get an RFE in the later stage where you need to finish the medicals

we did this when we filed our I485
