Interview : Transferred to HARTFORD, Connecticut

Hi Greenie, it is good that atleast you got the interview. Please try going to the INS office and ask them if they can schedule a fingerprint before your interview.
 
Interview passed but no Stamping

Guys,
I had my interview this morning. 2 hour wait and finally he called. DAO was african american, polite, non-conversationalist. Asked if I was ever arrested or presented fraudulent dox. Asked for Driver's license, employment letter, w-2, pay stubs (copies to keep) and updated medical (i693-supplement was enough). Then he gave me an unofficial letter stating that visa #'s are not available and to keep checking visa bulletin for cut off. When my priority date is before cut off, he said to make an info pass appointment and come back for stamping of the passport.

hi InTheHunt: our interview is scheduled on 8/18 with examiner DAO. Does this mean it will be the same guy as yours? And, did your letter specifically say you need to bring your medical? Mine only says vaccination record for K-1 benificiaries and we don't have copy of our medical. Any thought? thanks

I am Eb3 and will have to wait for visa availability. Any clue what the cut off date will be when it's available again ?

Mine said DAO and the name of the officer was Larkin. You won't know your officer until you get called up. My letter asked for I-693 supplement so I had gotten one updated. He asked me updated medical and luckily I had just my immunization record updated and that was enough. Don't take chances, if your case has been pending for 2 years then get an updated medical.

In the Hunt, How can a obtain an updated medical? Do you think I need to go to that INS doctor again and do the whole medical again? Thanks.

I suggest asking your lawyer since mine was a 245i case and it could be a diff requirement list than yours.

I didn't get the full medical but I got the immunization records updated on form I693-supplement. That's all I gave when the officer asked for updated medical. Surprisingly he didn't ask for anything more.

InTheHunt... even though you didn't direct this question to me...what i've heard (kind of speculation) from people is "if" there is any cutoff date it could be either june or sep 02.

Hi all, I had the interview today and same story , because of Visa Number unavailability i did not get the approval.Officer told us, i will receive an approval letter as soon as they start issue the Visa Number (i.e. in Oct). Since it's been 15 months completed for our finger prints he asked us to go for the Finger prints again.He gave us the appoint for today(Actually we asked for today) and we completed that too at pearl street office. He also asked us to give finger print(Index) and sign on the form(We did this at main street office finger print room, corner room). He gave us a letter saying about the Visa Unavailbility with my priority date and status on that document.my priority date is 06/24/05 and status is E37 (i don't know what that mean? does anybody?). He took photo copies of my W2, pay stubs(last few months), passports, original I94s. Common questions in back page of I-485 application form. Actually nothing serious questions.
He looks very pleasant, polite and professional.
 
How to get updated medicals?

Hi Guys,

After reading this forum it looks like some of you folks were asked for updated medicals. I was just wondering if that applies to me, I did my medicals in 2002 (RD: Aug 2002).

They have not asked for medicals, but in the last line it says for K1-beneficiaries they should bring vaccination records.

Mine is employment based, do I need to get those updated medicals? If yes, how can get them?

Please advise.

Hi all,

I have an interview for 485 case at houston local office next month. My current wage is less than the prevailing wage, would this be a problem at interview? Do I need to hire an attorney for this kind of a case. Please advise.

Koolgui you are prob ok but your employer will have to state that they are going to pay you the prevailing wage once you have GC you should consult a lawyer just for the advice but there is a few posts that discuss this issue.

GLB If you have kept a copy of your medical receipts you can go back to the doctor and tell them you need a vaccination record update. They are not asking for medicals at the interview all it is some doctors failed to fill out the vaccinations correctly.

the only PD i know for my case is the one assigned to I-140, May 02, and all other receipt/approval notices don't list any PD. Is this the date which will be applied if there is any cutoff date when the fiscal year starts in oct?
