Hi SMT

Does it have all your alien numbers at the Top? Ours had both our names but all our alien numbers where to the right of that if not then I guess its your wife only.

Interviewed on 07/22/2005

I had an interview this morning (07/22/2005 at 8:50AM).The interview went good, was asked general questions like date of
last entry in to the US, how long I have been working for the current
employer, How long I worked for the sponsored employer, asked if I was
ever arrested, ever deported, used public assistance etc.,
verified current employment letter, 2004 tax return, recent pay stubs, passports, I-94.
Officer said, he is not going to approve our cases because of my EB3 classification and I have to wait till October 2005.
 
Thanks for quick post after your interview. I was just waiting for your post as i am in same EB3 boat.
Do you have to contact them in Oct or are they going to inform you?
Did he say any specific time in oct?
I will post my experience on 26th.
 
Sorry to hear that numbers were not assigned for your interviews. Hopefully they will call you early October.

I have received my plastic card yesterday. I'm all done with the waiting. I even received my new social security card without the notation on it. God is good. Let's keep trusting in him. Best of luck to one and all.
 
Hi All:

I got my and my wife's welcome letter today.

letter says the new card will expire in ten years. and I should be getting it in 3 weeks.
 
our welcome notices are in too seems like cards will follow in next couple of days.
WEll done everyone don't worry you are all coming up I know Oct seems far away but at least you know your interview and everything else is out of the way

ALong journey has come to a positive end.
 
Received our interview letter!

Hi guys, we've received our interview letter today scheduled for Aug 18. So what's the deal given that no visa number is available now? Does it mean that even if our interview goes fine we don't know our approval status until Oct? And, are we going to be interviewed again then? Your comments or feedbacks will be appreciated. Hope our pain will end soon too.

Welcome letter is after approval congrats but right now we have had one interview and they never approved because of visa unavailability.

Janan did your child get a welcome notice?

So are we going to get interviewed again in Oct? Or if our Aug interview goes fine we will get approval in Oct so just have to wait?

Yes my child got a welcome letter as well. In fact we all got two welcome letters each. I guess they wanted to make sure that they were received. Your plastic cards should be received shortly. Im so happy for all of us and even though the later ones are getting interviews but no approvals until October, at least Hartford is moving. The jorney will be behind us all soon.
 
No fingerprint/background & name checks done yet

we haven't got any notice for fingerprint/background & name checks yet but been scheduled for an interview next month. Do you expect this to cause additional delay on our case?
 
Hi Greenie, are you EB2/EB3? For EB3, no direct approval right now. I think for EB2, it is still available.

i know - unfortunately EB3. So are we going to have to go through this painful "wait-n-see" period which could take years or going to get approval in Oct? Was very excited to get the interview letter then turned depressed :mad:
