485 LUD today without message change.

hi, everyone, just found there is new LUD on 485 without message change. anyone got same?

what time is your appointment ( Infopass) today ?

Hope you will hear something really good.
 
came back from local office

Just came back from Infopass appointment in local office. First to say, the officer is very nice and helpful. He said my case is under review now. I said now means today? He said 6/26. That's when I got first LUD. So nothing new here. He told me I should be able to receive notice very soon. Then I asked him if my name check is done. He did that. Unfortunately, he told me the background check is still pending. I asked him if he background check means name check. He said yes.

Anyway, it worth for this trip. Of course the answer is not what I want.

Hope our name check will be cleared soon.

Can you shed some lights on how to get this infopass appointment.

It is very easy. In my local office, I only waited for 15 minutes.

I just booked the info pass appt on 07/19. Do you know what all documents to carry ?

MY PD is current and my case is also trasferred to TSC. My ND is 09/29/2005.

Wanted to know the status of my case and Name check status .
 
I only show the officer my I-485 transfer notice from CSC to TSC. But I brought with me the passport, I-140 approval notice, my current H1B approval notice. One thing I forgot is to ask if my wife's name check is done. So you may need to bring your family's I-485 notice if you want to inquire for them.

There is security check in the building gate, like airport. So do not bring a lot of things with you. You need a valid ID like driving license or passport to enter the building.

how to call texas center

it's not current yet. I called national customer service number (1(800)375-5283. 1-2-6-1- # -1-3-4 ) this afternoon, but the lady told me my case was transfered to texas center and should call there. I'm in San francisco and the call was automatically connected to CSC. anyone know how to call texas center? thanks. i'm thinking i should go to local office, too.

For those of you who plan to go to local office with Infopass, please ask when your name check was initiated. When the officer offered to check if my name check was complete but found it is still pending, I forgot to ask when it was started. I assume we all have I-485 filed later last year so that name check should have started soon after I-485 submission.

I talked to a nice lady in TSC on the phone this morning. both mine and my wife's FP/NC are cleared. The lady told me everything is ready. but she don't know anything about two recent LUDs.
now just waiting for new VB out.

Talk to TSC person

I just talked to a nice lady in TSC and got some information. Our name check was submitted last OCt. My wife's NC already was cleared, but my son and my one are still pending. The lady said it may take 1-3 years. I also asked about two LUDs, which I got on our 485 last month. She said nothing happended, just means your case is under review. So even my PD is current, I do not know when we can get GC.
