I-140 scan (Project kashmir related small project)

well, hopefully they will. Remember USCIS took I-140 forces to work on the religion cases? We were told they will start working on 140 on Oct.1 last year. Did they? No, they didn't. They started to work on H1-B cases. I wonder why all the other applications have the priority but only 140 don't? I also don't understand why H1 cases deserve the priority but we don't? The only thing we can do is cross our fingers and wish they would at least look at our cases.

I feel like we are the poorest group in the whole immigration process. Most of us waited for our LC for almost 2 years and when our 140 applications finally reached USCIS, all of the sudden the 140 process is on hold. This time, I really hope it's our turn. We've waited too long and wasted too much time.

Sorry for the emotional words..I'm just too upset. Yeah..hope we call all be released from this painful waiting soon.

hi needluck

i am soo frustrated with this process. there is no time frame for anything. i am stuck with this stupid company who is paying peanuts for the 60hr week i am putting on. lost all motivation, passion for work..no pay raise in 4 years. not a $. plus we have change of management who wants to get rid of previous employees because they want more control and just for the fun of it :((

i can't move on unless i get this 140 approved. sorry folks..i know this is not a place to vent emotions..but its all because of our dear friends at ....

To kenboo....

Kenboo,

When you get a chance, can you please run the 140 scan report and post the results? Since the date has moved, we might see some 140 processing (keeping my fingers crossed).

Thanks in advance,
masti

Kenboo,

The new JIT report has moved a lot. But our diff report shows fewer cases processed.

I saw the same thing last June, July then JIT report showed there were processing June-July cases but cases were still need to be procesed in May.

Weird?

Discrepancy?

As per immigrationwatch.com 13 I140 approvals at CSC after 02/09/2004.

WAC040255**** 11/05/03 APPROVED 02/13/04 RECEIVED_0 11/05/03

As late as 11/05/2003 are approved, are we missing something?

re:

i am getting concerned too. i am sure the scan is correct but then how come we are not seeing any approvals. RFE etc .. i was following NSC thread for some time and used to see on an average abt 4-5 approvals daily for some time .

I have definite information that RFEs were issues for I140 cases with ND Sep 18,2003. USCIS are touching cases filed as late as Sep wihout doing anything about the earlier cases. I am beginning to think either they have misplaced the earlier files or lost them altogether.

the scan is incomplete. immigrationwatch.com doesn't seem to be complete either (kashimir or someone in the project kashimir mentioned it in I-485 forum).

Unless CSC tells us the definition of processing date exactly it's hard for us to guess what's going on over there. I don't care about the date they post at the web.

I remember reading the post by kashmir regarding
immigrationwatch.com.

Kashmir has mentioned that the immigrationwatch.com has only
applications from Fy 2003 onwards. They do not have much
cases from 2001 / 2002 years, which actually doesnot matter to
us much.

We in our scan might not have cases from all the days of 2003 / 2004. So we are not seeing actual figures of RFEs / Approvals.

As novis pointed out it might be true that USCIS might be looking
for cases in september or later and sending RFEs. Actual
approvals might be happenning at another date earlier.

But I strongly feel CSC is processing I140 cases filed in May 2003 also.
I have got an RFE and 'Kell' (RD is 05/15/03) got an RFE on 02/20/04

kell, details pls

Kell,

Was it current or sequential? If it filed currently, did you get your AP and EAD approved without RFE?

Please update your datils to help us get some ideas. Thanx

needluck

needluck4GC,
I filed 140 and 485 together. I got EAD and AP in the Aug,2003 and Sep, 2003 with out any RFE.

scanning

Today, I tried to scan 140 cases by excel in bcis site. It gave me a warning, that my quota is over for the day(1000 hits). But when I tried to scan individually, it works fine.

Is BCIS is being SMARTER in NON-ESSENTIAL AREAS?

Any approvals/RFE

Hello Guys,
PLEASE share the info, of any approvals/RFE recently. Also, any news about processing statistics of 140 with CP option.
thanks
