sfmars,

But i'm on my 7 years h1 right now, and it will be expired on Nov. this year.
Do you think i need to extend my h1 right now? how long i could extend my h1? another 1 year or 3 years (somebody told me, i could extend another 3 years, i don't know if it's right).

Thank you very much.

Because you are on the 7th year of H1 (I presume that LC was filed 365 days before 6th year of H1) you can extend your H1 unlimited number of times by one year increment until I140 is denied. If your I140 is approved and your PD is not current you can extend your H1 unlimited number of times by 3 years of increment until your PD is current and EB visa is available.

LC State: IL
LC Category (EB1/EB2/EB3): EB3
LC PD: Nov 2003
I-140 FD:
I-140 RD: 5/24/2006
I-140 LUD: 5/26/2006
I-140 Receipt#: SRC-06-183-xxxxx
I-140 AD: Waiting
Concurrent filing (Yes/No): No

I am giving this info based on the receipt number I found on the backside of the check and registering in the USCIS website for case status updates.

Now, what is FD? Is it the filing date. If it is filing date where do you get this from? Is it something verbally told by attorney?

Thanks.

Thank you.

Thank you very much.

I appreciate all your answers.

NSC has changed "Case Status" message.

Before it was "It takes 150-180 days" now this text disappeared.

Either they want to place kind of 400-500 days like in TSC or they want to say that period of case processing is indefinite.

I think they want to stimulate people to file Premium Processing.

I hope the premium comes fast

I hope that is the case. I too checked it, 150 - 180 days text is gone. :(

My application has an EAC number - it was transferred from VSC to NSC. But it has been classified as LIN in the XL tracker. Any idea why?

Thanks.

Approval from Murthy forum

I have found info about this approval on the Murthy forum

My 140 approved - 6/6/06

30. EB2 4/14/06 NSC - (kadav)

=====================================================

NSC shows strange activity, the same day I saw couple of approved cases which had been transfered from VSC with RD at the middle of Jan 2006, and approval of the case filed to NSC originally with RD Apr 2006.

So this case is approved in Texas

I got three emails very early this morning informing me that it has been approved on June 7, 2006 that is today. Somebody is working very hard in Texas. It took a little over a month for an approval.

The second LUD was an approval.

Here are my details...but I have some questions guru's please answer

1. My case is from OH why is the case number SRC?
2. Online case status shows time taking period as 400-450 days, is it really true for EB-3?
3. If I am not stuck in Name check nonsense how soon would I hear from them?
