My AVM message is "On Jan 18th we received the results of your FP review...and processing has resumed on your case ...". May be my case is also pending review in that case. I have never been lucky enough to talk to an IIO so far. Also, I saw a note on murthy.com/chat ...which says INS keeps trackof your calls to IIO and may/might delay ur case etc., ... so dont take any chances. Hopefully, we will get approved by mid april atleast. I am from seattle ...where r u from ? Good luck.

Calling IIO once or twice should be OK. This is the first time I talked to an IIO. What is you WAC #? I thought INS process I485 by WAC # after FP received from FBI. There was one guy whose WAC is 271 with sep. RD & ND approved couple days ago. One case with WAC 268 with Aug RD & ND also approved. They possible were very luck to get wrong WAC number. Hope we can hear good news at middle April. What country are you from?

I agree with you on how INS processes 485\'s. Yeah, I did see some 270/271 approvals .... but haven\'t seen many approvals this week. If INS were to process at the same rate(like the beginning of this month/ late Feb)...we might even get our approvals by this month end. However, a lot of these approvals we have been seeing are not from Pcee\'s list. I was talking to my friend in Cisco this afternoon ... he said some of his colleagues who did their FP in early Feb ... got approved already. He couldn\'t give me any addtl details (like RD/ND etc.,) though. Good Luck.

I did my FP on Feb 9th. Today, March 18, the AVM has been changed to "On Feb 13th, we have received your FP results and the processing has been resumed on your case..."

Feb 10 FP - AVM never changed! CSC - San jose

I did my FP on Feb 10th, but the voice mail still says - your case will be processed in 995 days blah...

ND: Sep 20 2001
EAD/AP : Dec 2001
FP notice came : Feb 1st week
FP done : Feb 10th
Anybody else in the same boat ?

It still says "FP notice has been sent on ......."

Yes, I did check, no change!

It still says "Ur application was received in Sept, It is taking 975-999 days to process"

I am worried that it does not even say my finger print notice was sent, because I completed by FP Feb10th.
Any Advise?

Friends,

I guess now its my turn to share this news, Just heard the magic words on AVM. I cannot believe this, I had been a regular memeber on this board. This board is amazing, Thanks to Ciba and Pcee for all your help.

The last 5 years had been tough, My original PD was of June 1996, but I moved companies and finally filled for GC in June 2000 in EB3/RIR. Upon approval again filed for EB2/RIR ( BS +5 years)
got approved and there after it was the usual process.

All of you who are waiting, hang in there and you will get your approvals soon. Finally a last word ! getting early FP done does help. I got mine done in Nov.

Me too!! no change in AVM after FP

Chazhs, nothing to worry.....I\'ve seen people getting approvals/RFE with no change in their AVM after 485 was received or after FP.....Probably you can talk to an IIO and find out if they\'ve your FP results in their database...good luck!!!

Just spoke with IIO this afternoon for the first time. They said that they have received my background check from FBI on March 16 eventough the AVM said it was received on Feb 13th. Anyway, IIO told me that it has not been assigned and hopefully will be adjusted within 30-45 days. So for those who are in the same boat, hangin there.
