GC Plastic Card Tracker

My status also changed to "On March 9, 2004, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

INS is updating every minute their system.

I suggest the following , Insted of adding a new reply message in this thread Please edit your ORIGINAL post as and when you get your GC.

This will help those people who read this thread from the begining.

G-731 for inquiring about Plastic card

Has anybody sent a G-731 to VSC to enquire about the plastic card if it hasn't arrived in 180 days?
I spoke to USCIS rep and she advised to submit a G-731

But mine is not changed

I got my AD on 3/09/04. Next I am in Plastic card tracker que.
I am a big fan on tracking in Excel Spread sheet. If you guys are ok, please update your info in the xls attachement and re-post it back.

My card is mailed today , the status has changed to

"On March 12, 2004, the card order was completed and we mailed the applicant's new card directly to him or her. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this card, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

2 months after the passport stamp, you can renew SSCard.
one case after 8 month, receive the plasti cards 2 weeks after the date.

I recently went to Social Security office to update the card and was told that the status is not yet updated to permanent resident in the central system.
