I wanted to give you guys an update.
We got a letter from USCIS saying that my husband’s case has been approved.
The letter said that if he needs to go do biometrics and all that, they’ll let him know.

So I guess we just have to wait?

My husband called info pass and was added to the queue/wait list waiting for someone to call back to schedule the appointment.
He got a call back probably a week after and the representative told him that she was going to notify his local USCIS office and that the office was going to decide whether he needs to go in person or not. She also said the local office would contact him about that. So 3 days ago we received that letter. I’m not sure yet if he has to go or not. A little bit confusing since the letter says that everything has been approved.

And also, start calling info pass. They’ll have all your information. You don’t need the letter right now. Yes, you’ll need it for the info pass appointment.

Yes it is very confusing
As you can see, it seems like USCIS handles cases in a different way. Some have to go, others don’t. Who know why.
But we’re very close!
Let’s keep praying we all finish this painful process smoothly.

My husband had his individual hearing this morning and the Judge granted the motion and he was given the written approval! I have no idea why he needed us to go back, but everyone was there including DHS’s attorney, who stated she is in agreement with the Judge’s decision and has no intentions of appealing! The Judge congratulated our family and wished us all the best, to say it was very emotional is an understatement!
I am wondering with the info pass if my husband will have to go since the attorney for DHS stated she asked USCIS to apply his most recent biometrics and photos to this case, so we shall see! After 20 years there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel!!!!!!

Congratulations to the entire family, I can understand why it was very emotional after 20yrs.
Please let me understand, his individual hearing was today and the written approval from the judge the same day? Did he have a verbal approval prior? Thanks to elaborate please.

Please ignore my queries! I read your previous posts that answer them. Congrats once again!
 
What do you guys think, to ask for help with the house representative to expedite our case?, I did use our house representative many times ago when my husband's work authorization was delayed.

It's won't hurt to try but I ask that to my lawyer before and she told me to just wait because is the judge decision the one I have to wait, but if you have a lawyer I will talk to him or her first just To get a better advice.
for what I read before I think you can request that but you need to have a good reason to do it like a emergency something like that.
