I140/485 ND - 11/09/2004

So, if NSC is processing 485 cases with RD of July 2003, then this guy's case shouldnt have been approved. I think they are either going by PD for EB2 or they are much more ahead than what they have posted on their website. Which one is it?

NSC process in their own way. So do nto analyze NSC with Approved cases. If they are going with PD as july what about me and other guys who are sitting since 2002. So Just wait until your turn. What you can do is, if your dates passed then try to contact Local Senator.

But Never go with Approved cases. { My 2 cents buddy }

I wish the concept of turn/line is there with NSC folks. If that was the case, my 140 shouldnt have been approved. I definitely feel that NSC is unjust in approving later filers (including me) while older cases are sitting idle. Of late they have been approving 140's filed in 2004 and 2005 while many in 2003 are still wondering whats happening to theirs! And they have approved many 485's whose 140's have been approved recently. So I'm trying to see if this is an aberration or a trend.
I cant control what happens to older applications, but I can see some recent 140 approvals to have their 485 approved. I might be lcuky, or maybe not.. But, hope is a good thing! ;)

Any EB2 approvals of any kind

Have anyone seen any EB2 approvals recently , in last 2 months or so. I have not heard of anything so curious if they are processing only EB3 or touching EB2 also.

I think they are processing EB3 only

I think they are processing only EB3 applications probably to clear as many as possible before June 30th. As EB3 won't be available after June 30 till Oct 1st, they are probably trying to clear as many EB3s as possible. I hope they go crazy on EB2s after June 30 and clear a big bunch soon.

if you look on the www.shusterman.com website , it says that EB2 category may retogress too in July.

I heard 2 other people on this forum mention that when they called USCIS to inquire they were told they dont have visa numbers for EB2. I dont know if USCIS mistook their case for EB3?

140 approved. Waiting for 485. I have a feeling that it is going to be a long wait, so I am going to take it easy now :)
