EAD @vsc

2nd EAD for me and my spouse approved yesterday 02/27 and 02/28 respectively. Our ND was 12/22/2005.
Question to ALL : Do you guys see change in LUD of 485 when 2nd/3rd EAD is approved ? Thanks all .
 
I didn't see any LUD's on my I 140 or I 485 , while approving my 2nd EAD.. I guess I 485 's LUD must change while approving EAD's.. Lets see may be while sending cards there may be some LUD chnages !!

It seems VSC is processing randomly. I noticed some are getting fast approvals in one month and for some it took 2 months or so.
 
When to renew?

Our EAD/AP are expiring in July 2006. Meanwhile we are travelling out of the country during end of March 2006. I will come back in last week of April 2006. But my wife/kid are planning to return in June 2006.

I am confused as to when to apply for EAD/AP renewal. Can I apply for the renewal now and then go out of the country?

Or shall I apply for renewal when in April 2006 after I return. My wife will still be out of the country though. I can get the papers signed by her when I return and use that for renewal while she is out of the country?

Please help.

I applied on the 2/10 for EAD renewal at VSC after my I-485 case was reopened. I've been seeing LUD changes from 2/24/06 through 3/1/06. My I765 application LUD has changed and is at 2/21/06 right now. Could it be that they're approving my I-485. My case was submitted in 2001 and all my family members have their green cards except me because mine was rejected.

I got my EAD approved!

RD 02/16/2006, ND 02/17/2006

On 02/27/2006 I received this email:

"On 27-feb-2006 After approving your application, we ordered a new card and will be mailed when ready"


Today I got another email:

"On 02-Mar-2006 This case has been approved. A notice has been mailed...
"
 
AP Renewal Another Question. hopeofgc & others

Thanks hopeofgc for the info. I was reading the Form=131 instructions and found this on Page 3 ( above Filing Instructions ).

D.If you travel before the advance parole document is
issued, your application will be deemed abandoned if:

1.You depart from the United States; or
2.The person seeking advance parole attempts to
enter the United States before a decision is made on
the application.

The above para is valid only while applying first time for AP or for AP Renewals as well?

My current EAD/AP is valid until July 2006. Is it okay to apply for renewal now and go out of the country and came back in Apr 2006?

Please help.

Just curious as to what # EAD renewal was this?
Does the new start date of the new date correspond with the expiration date of your old EAD?
My EAD is up for renewal and I am trying to debate how soon should I apply for renewal.

After USPS mix up and 2 failed delivery attempts and return of the card back to USCIS, I got my EAD (approved Oct'5 2005) only today. Luckily I still had a valid H1 to continue employment.
 
I wonder what are the basis for EAD/AP approval? I have noticed some are getting faster approvals and some are not.

Well, anyways, pls. post any new approvals here.

I applied for my EAD and AP on 01/23/06 was the RD @ VSC (I am from Northern VA)
I got my EAD renewal by 02/15/06 and AP by 03/01/06.
I think it was very fast when compared with other cases at VSC
 
I got my 1st renewal EAD and AP both within 1 week of application in 1st week of Dec.

For my wife( EAD and AP) and my son( AP), we sent the renewal applications end-Dec. RD is 01/04/2006.

Since then, there have been 2 LUD changes on my wife's cases( 1/27 and 3/6). Nothing on my son's though.
 
Waiting for renewal of EAD

I also applied on 1/23/06 but still no approval. The LUD is 3/2/2006. This is my 3rd EAD.
