Did you receive your EAD card??
It looks like mine was also approved on 27 Feb'2006.

I'm waiting for my EAD card.

Same here. :) Exact date like yours of approval , card rcvd and valid date.
 
There was an LUD on my renewal application yesterday (03/06/06)...but the status message remains the same ie "We sent you a receipt...its taking between 60 to 90 days..."
RD is 01/06/06.

Atmaramji, same here . MY second EAD and AP got LUD changed yesterday but same message like yours

RD 01/12/06 LUD 03/06/06 but same message
 
It can be either of the two following cases:
1. Case is going to be approved today. ( My EAD-1 had an LUD the day before its message changed to approved)

2. Its a systemwide update that happens every once in a while on a bunch of cases.

Lets hope its case# 1. :)

Dont want sound pessimistic. but it looks like it is system wide update. It has happened to me also. Even though my AP got approved, LUD has been updated on approved AP case again.

LUD has been updated on all other pending cases(My EAD, My wife's EAD and AP)

well, am also in the same boat..

my RD is 01/05/06 and got LUD on 03/06/06.... its been more than 2 months and now its going frustating..
 
I am not sure what is taking them so long to approve? Especially, renewal cases. I think its high-time that USCIS should start approving EAD for more than 1yr. Why should we take this pain every year?

However, some were getting faster approvals, we have to find/analyse what different we have done in filing?

I did but I'm still waiting.
 
2nd EAD@VSC

Hi Guyz

I got my EAD approved exactly in 7 days.
Received date was 23rd Feb and approved on 2nd March.

One more good thing is that I got the card valid till June 2007, because my 1st EAD card is expiring in June 2006. So I am not losing anything here.

Note: I did include that 797-D stub from previous EAD and sent it by FedEx.

LUD changed on 3/6/06

Even I got LUD change on 3/6 on my EAD. I think, it was a systemwide change.

This is my 3rd EAD and RD is 1/23/06.

Me too got an update on 03/06/06 on my 3rd EAD & AP renewal. Applied on 01/24/06.
 
Pay biometric fee everytime?

Do we need to pay the Biometric Fee $70 everytime we renew the EAD/AP? I paid that when I applied for I-485/EAD/AP for the first time and did my FP in July 2005.

I am going to renew my EAD/AP now at VSC. Do I need include a check for Biometric fee as well?

Please help.
