what dose your AVM say? Do you know when your AVM was updated for the approval of AP?

Aug17 is the post mark date
Validity of AP is Aug 03, 2002

Supervisor Review.

I called the IIO and enquired about my AP status. The lady told me that it was under Supervisor Review.
Then she tole me that everything was ok.

My ND is 7/16. Most people with ND much later than that have gotten their AP.

I was wondering what to make of it.

Is your RD really 6/23? Here you wrote that you mailed on 5/16 but in one thread (Old June) you wrote that your MD is 5/10, in another thread you wrote that your ND is 7/27 and you got your receipts on 7/25 (two days earlier than ND)! Now you wrote that your RD is 7/23 and ND is 7/29! Can you please specify (if possible) exact dates?

If you don\'t want to specify proper dates that\'s ok too.

why only some got EAD

As per Remarks column in the status, some members seems to have got EAD and mostly iEAD. Is it because others have not applied for it or is INS processing these applications randomly.

Received AP papers from INS for me, my wife and daughter. All of them came in a single envelope.

Please update the status file. Thanks for maintaing this list
 
iEAD at san jose? Any experiences MONTYBHATIA??

How was the process.. when should one go? how much time does it take generally, what documents etc etc.. Anybody?

RHT, I did my iEAD at Sacramento and not at San Jose. The documents needed were

Receipt notices for 485 and EAD
I.D
Form I-765

I had taken a lot of things like my passport, pay stubs etc but they only want the above mentioned things.

No one in this thread got EAD approval yet! In Remarks column what is shown is iEAD means InterimEAD. If one filed for EAD and it is not approved with in 90 days, one can go to local INS office and get an InterimEAD. For traking purpose when one got iEAD doesn\'t matter much (because after 90 days every one applied can go get it). Experience of getting iEAD may be useful to other members, so it is reported in Remarks column. If we know of sure that some one didn\'t apply AP or EAD then I mentioned in Remarks column as "no AP", "no AP, EAD" etc...

When some one\'s EAD gets approved it will be reported in EAD column.

I went to the INS at about 6 am in the morning. I was done by about 10:30 am. It was for me and my spouse.

Applied for all AOS/EAD/AP for both me and my wife in May. Details are below:

(the file is still with the supervisor)
ND (7/15). Although AVM says that my AP
was approved on 8/9. I have not received
it yet though
 
if (RD + 90 days ) = eligibility of iEAD why everybody has not done it?

I get confused on this issue, as of 27th August , all the people with RD upto 27th May 2001 should have gone to INS and gotten their iEAD, why only few went and why the majority did not ?

is it because, not many people want to work on their EAD or I am missing something?

Just for info of everybody, can you( united win ) give us the address of SF INS office in this thread.

Yes, every one who applied for EAD and 90 days passed can go to local INS office and get iEAD, and also Yes, not many people need EAD immediately.

If you read experiences of people who went to local INS office (especially San Jose, One need to wait in the line starting midnight) you will realize why one can wait for another month more. Also iEAD may be given for 3 months, 6 months or 1 year (actually I didn\'t see any patern here, it is just luck). I read some where on this site that people who has iEAD for 3 months faced problems convincing prospective employer that their permission to work is not going to expire after just three months rather they will get another extension after 3 months. etc.
