DV 2025 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Process Only

Hello, my question is, as for the DV lottery, will you get the interview when the visa availability reaches my number? In this case, 2025AS0017xxx. And is it fine to continue the process for the interview? I hope this clarifies my question
You are never guaranteed to have an interview before fiscal year ends. However, the past experience shows that USCIS is doing everything they can to process DV applicants in time and they're aware of the deadline.

Hi all - how do we go about changing our address when moving?

Simply in the online account, is that sufficient?
Change of address via online account is recommended. While a pending case will not need to be transferred to a new FO following a change of address (if the new address is within the same jurisdiction as the previous address), there is no guarantee USCIS mail wouldn't get sent to a previous address even though a change of address was submitted.

Is there anything I can do to ensure mail goes to the right address besides making the change on time in the account?

Our cases just moved. While the FO is known to waive interviews, my case (Derivate) now shows interview scheduled, and my wife’s case shows interview cancelled.

Any idea what’s up with this?
Related to marriage after selection?

My wife’s case (primary applicant) shows interview cancelled and then, last status ready to be scheduled for an interview. Mine shows ready to be scheduled, and then, last status is interview scheduled.

It could be that. It could be related to your background, considering how long it has taken for them to get back to you guys following the RFE response. Just ensure you attend your interview fully prepared.

p.s. update the Timeline spreadsheet with your interview date.

How would I or we prepare for background? We both have nothing on our records.

Do we both show up to whatever interview notice we get?

Be prepared to speak to whatever question(s) you get asked. As with any regular immigration interview, take along any and all documents you can think of that may be of help to your case.

You should both plan on attending the first interview date for either of you together.

Thank you we will do.

Does it mean anything that mine shows as scheduled and hers as cancelled and ready to be scheduled?

I will update the timeline whenever I get home.

Could you let me know what you think about the different statuses for our cases?

@Sm1smom I added it to the notes as we neither have a date nor a notice. EMMA said they dont see it yet.

Any comment on our case status being different?

Try not to read much or any meaning to the different statuses, theres really no big deal to it IMHO. The different statuses could be something as simple as a human error. As earlier posted, most DV based cases do not get any status update following bio completion until after the case gets adjudicated following interview completion or interview waiver. If only one of you end up receiving the IL, again, both of you should plan on attending the interview together based on the received notice.
