Have you already filed for AOS? When did you send in your AOS package? Do add your case to the Timeline spreadsheet if you already filed.Hi all,
Can a concern over continuity of someone's status (humanitarian parole) due to potential changes introduced by the new administration serve as a valid reason to do a congressional inquiry rather early, explaining all of this? Or at least calling and requesting INFOPASS?
To directly answer your question, you most definitely will not be able to get an INFOPASS appointment based on concern about potential changes by the incoming administration. And I doubt if your congressman/woman's office will consider that a legitimate reason for requesting case follow-up assistance either considering if your AOS application is already pending, continuity of an applicant’s current status, or potential threat to it, has no impact on the eventual case adjudication.
