DV 2023 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Only

I was looking at some finance-proof-related questions from previous posts. As I provided around 5K $ in my bank account with my I-485 application sent. Is that ok to bring the same document to the interview too?

That is not highly unusual. However, there have been reports of delays with receiving the GC following AOS approval. New reports indicate USCIS is massively backlogged with GC production which may be tied to the GC redesign announcement made at the end of January. I wouldn't worry about not receiving the GC unless it's been more than 30 days since the approval which is when I would submit an eRequest.

A follow up question about SSA card,

1. what do you suggest we do after receiving our cards with VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION written on them?
2. The cards have only has our first and last name without our middle names.

1. Visit the SSA office after receiving your GC and request a replacement SSN card without DHS restrictions.
2. If your GC shows up with a middle name, point that out when you visit the SSA office.

I have a bio appointment for last week of March, Is there anyway I can ask for walk in appointment for earlier date ? if yes how to ask for Walk in Bio ?

A walk-in is exactly what it’s called “walk-in” = visiting the ASC outside of your scheduled appointment and hoping they will allow you to complete the bio based on you walking in.
 
Hi mom, I am a self funded J1 visa holder. I am in the US for 9 months. For 6 months I got support from a private organisation from my country and the remaining 3 months I got 10,000$ from the organisation I am doing research here as award. I have 3 derivatives (spouse and 2 kids)
1.In part 2 of form I-134 what should I write for income? Does it include the income comes from our country? (my husband and I have two properties which we rent them).
2. Should I provide the list of assets that I have in my country? here I don't have any assets.

Anybody waiting for their biometrics letter for more than 2 weeks? I have received my NOA letter on February 27 and have been checking informed delivery since then.

I need to establish physical presence in the US as AOS applicant using 245i.
I do not have a specific official document that establishes this, but have some corresspondence that could show this requirement.
Swearing a Personal Affidavit is an option I have , according to USCIS.
Do you know how one goes about doing this?

I don’t know of any other means outside of what I referred you to in a previous response. The 245i issue is not a core DV based process, it therefore is not a conversation I wish to get deeply into. You want want to consider speaking with an experienced immigration lawyer on this - it is not a DIY matter IMO.

I submitted DS 260 (CN 2023AS16xxx.) end of November 2022 for consular processing and my case was current in March.
When I requested for my case status from KCC, they said "Your case number is now current for interview processing, Because your case is ready to be scheduled, KCC can no longer unlock your application."
Now I am in USA on F1 visa. Is it possible me to switch to AOS as USA embassy in my country seems to be slow in scheduling interviews.

If you’re certain about switching to AOS, you’ll need to move fast by informing KCC of your plan to switch from CP to AOS before they go ahead and schedule you for a CP interview. You may initially get a couple of non-relevant responses back from KCC, but they will eventually acknowledge the decision to switch. Again, you’ll need to contact KCC right away.

When did you arrive in the US on your F1 visa, and when did you receive receive your above response from KCC?
 
Hi mom, I would appreciate it if you could kindly let me know the bank statement which I provided from my saving in my country came back to when I cam to US around 6 months ago. Does it require to get a new one or this is okay?
