Tier 2 call schedule is at the discretion of the front line agent - it’s a matter of luck.
What if I call the USCIS Contact Center? Is it like talking to a Tier 2 agent?

The front line contact center agents are the same level as the chat agents.

Hello mom,I typically do not provide guidance on how to fill the I-824 as it is not a part of the standard DV process guidance which I provide here. However I took a look at the form and I do not understand precisely what doubts you’re having about the sections you listed:
Part 1. Q4: You should know whatever your current immigration status is
Part 1. Q5: You’re not a USC, so you wouldn’t have a naturalization certificate number, correct?
Part 1. Q12: You came across this same question on the I-485 you submitted for yourself, correct? So same answer.
Part 2. Q1c: I can’t help you figure out the embassy with jurisdiction over the country where your family is currently based, you need to figure that out yourself.
Part 3 Q1a: I-485 (Pending Adjudication)
Part 3 Q1b & 1c: You should be able to find the information on the acceptance receipt (NOA) for your I-485.
Part 3 Q1d: The case is not yet approved, so you have no approval date.
You have no basis for filing an I-130 at this point since you’re neither a LPR or a USC.
I'm sorry I typically do not provide guidance on how to fill the I-824 as it is not a part of the standard DV process guidance which I provide here just like it's already noted on my post which you quoted.Hello mom,
I was following this forum and thank you for all from now.
I have some confusion about follow to join process.I get my card with aos as an dv winner but my spouse in different county and we have limited time ,i read all case from excel for Follow to join process i will do the same things, i hope it will work but i have some confusing to fill i-824 part 3 section beetween 1.a -2g
I read i-824 introduction I understand it but in form under part 3 this sentence ‘‘ provide the following information about the principal beneficiary of the previous application or petition,if other than you’’ make me confuse
Because i-485 applicant is me.
1- Am I principal beneficiary? Should i write my information between 2.a-2g or shouldn’t I write anything and pass ?
Because in introduction of i-824 it says fill this part if you choose part2 1.a ,1.b , 1.d or 1.e
But i choose is 1.c so i also fill dependents section but i am not sure about between 2.a-2g
This make my confuse because i will pay fee and i just need advise from someone who fill up this form on i-485 or from you .
Just i am confuse at this part.
I have everything just this part confuse me and i am stuck in this section.
I also try to contact consulate for my spouse in his country but they never reply my mails.Even tough i write in right format when i sent emails, maybe i sent 10-15 mails and no response. My spouse will visit them.we have 44 days from now i hope we can do.
I will appreciate for helps.
Kind Regards.
Thanks you for reply, yes it is not typical process.I'm sorry I typically do not provide guidance on how to fill the I-824 as it is not a part of the standard DV process guidance which I provide here just like it's already noted on my post which you quoted.
Largely FO based.does your interview getting waived depend on the field office, or how strong your application is? are there some field offices that never waive interviews regardless of what documents you provide?
1. Maybe, I don't know.Hi Mom,
Just a quick update on my situation. So last week a field officer from Los Angeles phoned me and said they did not have the receipt for the DV lottery payment on file (the $330 x2 sent with the SSAE) even though I clearly sent it to them since they mailed it back to me with the stamp and signature. Luckily I had a photocopy and drove to the office to hand in.
1) I am wondering could this be one of the reasons my husbands I-485 was rejected? (Remember I messaged you last week about his rejection notice saying it didnt have the DV winning letter). Maybe they didnt see his $330 was also paid?
2) Yesterday I received an appointment letter for my interview in two weeks. I have a few questions...
a. Do you think that my husband's application can be fast tracked in time to have the interview at the same time as me (2 weeks away)?
b. If not, what happens to him? I am the DV winner but he is the F1 holder (I am F2). Can he interview after me in September?
c. Should I email the L.A. office and tell them about his application?
d. Will his application get rejected again since they didn't have the DV payment on file?? Or will they see the update that I handed it in person?
e. Lastly, if approved, approximatley how long does it take to receive the card? I have a trip to Puerto Rico for a week after the interview. Wondering if I should cancel it, or is it okay to fly there without the card since it is still the USA?
PS, I have sent you a request to edit the spreadsheet.
Such great news! Congratulations and thanks for returning with the update.Hi Mom,
We had to contact the congressman's office last Monday since we had not yet received our IL, and they were able to extract it from the USCIS and sent it to us via email. Finally, we also got our IL in the mail on Thursday, just a day before the Interview. We had requested for "Change of Address 2 months ago" in the USICS system (although same FO), but they still sent the IL to our old address, and USPS forwarded to our new one. The interview officer was also a little upset regarding the system, and he had called a day earlier on whether we have received our IL.
Our interview went well, and a few hours after the interview our status was changed to "New card is being produced". We'd like to thank you for helping us through this long and complicated process, and without your help it would not have been possible. We really appreciate it.
Sure, I will update the spreadsheet. Thank you!Such great news! Congratulations and thanks for returning with the update.
If you could continue to add your updates to the Timeline spreadsheet, that would be great - as both pending and future AOSers can benefit from the data on the spreadsheet.
I reported about it! None believed me. I told yaaHi Simons, there were lots of cases that were rejected for early filing. So, we didn't take any risk.
Do you still have a hope?View attachment 4316
If I am reapplying for an adjustment of status, do I need to type my current receipt number in option 3 or should I leave it empty?
I am in F1 status and I have a valid I-20 to defend my legal status. I talked with the attorney regarding this and he told me USCIS usually doesn't send a notice even if they send and asked to stand in immigration court we can show our valid I-20 and the hearing will also be closed. I think they haven't terminated my F1 status, they said they may issue a notice to stand in immigration court.@Diophantus @Sm1smom
Why did they terminate your F1 status? Did you use the AOS based EAD? This is pretty depressing to be honest! I was under the impression that AOS denial does not lead to termination of F1 status.
