DV 2023 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Only

Wow congrats! Did you do any prodding to help your case along ie. via EMMA or your congressman? Your turnaround (NOA --> IL) was pretty quick compared to other LA cases.
No I did not request any help via Emma or congressman, I am a j1 visa holder and admirative processing for my husband as j2 visa took around 8 months before entering to the US so I think our background check were done month ego.

Hello everyone, I asked Emma for the biometrics schedule appointment. She gave an update, but its not updated on USCIS website. Is it normal or glitch with live agent?

It is normal. Scheduled appointment does not/will not get updated online.

Hi Mom! What could this status mean/lead to? It doesn't look like RFE. For the record, the previous status was "RFE sent" which I replied to.

Notice Explaining USCIS Actions Was Mailed

On July 11, 2023, we began reviewing your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number ###. We mailed you a notice informing you of the action we intend to take on your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice and submit any requested materials.
Following up on this. Did you receive the notice yet? Mind updating us on what it says?

That is the right address for Nashville FO. I heard that Nashville has a big backlog and is working a bit slowly. It looks like we have very similar timelines. I have been waiting for the IL for 2 months now (and applied for AOS in Nashville).
Has there been any movement with your case, or are you still waiting for the interview?

I finally went ahead and did a congressional inquiry. Today, the case status reads "New Card is being produced".

Thank you once again for this forum and advice.
Glad to know there's movement on the remaining case. Thanks for the update.

Hi, following congressman inquiry they sent me this response from USCIS:
"A review indicates your constituent's application has been identified as a potential interview waiver application and is currently undergoing normal processing at the NBC prior to field office review. As an interview may not be required, your constituent's application may be sent to a field office, other than your local office, for final adjudication. Once further action is taken, your constituent will receive notice at the address of record."

this is while my biomedical document and two passport photo is missing in my I-485 application.
How can it be possible that interview gets waived?

I am still waiting for the IL. There is also an ongoing congressional inquiry. It is quite difficult to have faith and wait, but I guess that is the only thing I can do now.
Oh wow! Sorry to learn there's been no movement on your case considering one other case from your FO (@Azani), filed after you already completed their interview. I'm beginning to think you might be stuck in AP due to pending background check clearance. Is your line of study/work experience Technology Alert List (TAL) related?

By the way, @Azani, do you mind sharing your interview experience, and confirm if you've received your GC, for the benefit of others folks from your FO who are still waiting?

The response does not say your interview is being waived. It says it has been identified as a potential interview waiver application - key word being "potential" - it is possible your FO is considering waiving the interview requirement for the rest of the DV based AOS applications for this FY if everything is in order with those applications. In your case, once they complete the review and discover the missing documents, they will either issue you with a RFE or send you an IL to enable you present the missing documents.
