DV 2023 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Only

Good afternoon ,
My husband will have his interview on June 8 CP in Kuwait . I was hoping to join him but due to some visa restrictions policy in Kuwait , I was not able to join him because of this I postponed sending the money order.
I am thinking to send the 330$ now
1) is it too late ?
2) Which is better ?send it with his number or mine as mine is not current yet AS24k?
3) if I send it with his number, is it possible to write an explanation letter indicating why the main applicant is not here with us?
4) I have two kids with me so the receipt will be just one receipt with 990$ or 3 receipts with 330$ each.
5) I have another option to CP in Cairo Egypt but the performance of the embassy is very poor and I may not be able to get an interview so what do you think?
6) I am still waiting for the OPT approval , is it ok to send the package after his interview acceptance?
My case is complicated , 2 winning cases but High case numbers , do you recommend to follow with a lawyer due to the complicated situation?

1. Not too late.
2. Your call - just be aware you cannot file for AOS based on his CN until after he has successfully completed the process and has been admitted into the US as a LPR - I pointed this out to you already about three weeks ago.
3. Not necessary with the payment, but the explanation could proactively be provided to KCC in an email if you like. Again note response 2 above though.
4. One payment of $900, one receipt.
5. For CP, you're required to attend the interview with the selectee, a separate interview at a separate embassy will not be scheduled for you.
6. See response 2 above. And for reference, you can refresh your mind by going over my previous response to you.

I have noticed that some of the questions are repeated as they were asked before.
I should have checked the earlier post to refresh my memory, sorry for that
For question no.2, do you think they will accept the payment or it can be rejected as well before his interview?

They will gladly accept your payment regardless. It is the reason we recommend folks with higher CN that may not become current do not rush into making the DV payment. They will not check to see is your CN is current or not, or whether one is eligible to process AOS - the payment will be processed upon receipt and it is non-refundable.
 
Hello everyone, my online case status just turned to "New Card Is Being Produced". I just wanted to share and let you know. I would like to thank everyone in this group. Especially, Mom, of course. Always responded to my posts promptly and patiently. I know I was really annoying and wanted to get it done. Nevertheless, she was always great support. I will love to write a post about what I had to go through and hopefully, it will be help to other people.

Quick update; RFE finally arrived. Its asking for :
1. Copy of DV payment receipt (which I recently received)
2. Evidence that I and my wife who is the principal applicant share a marital life together. Turns out my W2 still have an old address on them different from our current house. So they might have placed us in different households. Will start collecting documents to show we live in the same house and have a marital life together.

Hello Everyone! My number is finally current in the month of July. Can I do an early filing and send package in mid-June? Of course with the note on the package that this is an early filing.

Good morning,
When sending the fee payment , Do I have to mention my husband’s name who is the main applicant or only me and my children who are adjusting status here?
Is it okay to include all the names on one paper or separate papers for each person.
