DV 2023 All Selectees (Consular Processing - CP)

Hi!
I contacted KCC about my DS-260 status and have received this response:
"
Thank you for your inquiry.
Your DS-260 has been processed. Interviews are scheduled numerically based on case numbers that have completed processing. Please refer to the visa bulletin at travel.state.gov to locate the current numbers being processed.
"

1- This means my DS-260 processing is completed, right?
I submitted my DS-260 on Feb 5th.

2- I've lived in the US since 2019 but will go to Madrid for the interview. Do I need to bring "police certificate" from the US to the interview?

Thanks for the help!

1. That’s what the email says.
2. No.

The NZ embassy is familiar with the PCC protocols from NZ. So follow the instructions for getting it completed, no need to worry about in person submission for that specific one.
Thank you for your support! If I cannot finish all vaccination before the medical exam, will they still operate it for me? Is that possible to receive all the doses they required before I enter the US but after the interview? The main reason is NZ has not recognized my previous shots in Turkey, and it's kinda impossible to receive dozen of doses within this 2 months. My GP mentioned she can help to register all record to NZ medical system, but my original medical card from Turkey is so lousy, the only thing we are worried about is they will ask me to provide the original document of immunization during the interview. Does anyone familiar with it?

Your application won’t be processed until you’ve provided all the documents needed. My piece of advice is get all required vaccines before attending your interview to avoid any unnecessary delays. One shot of each vaccine and 2 for/against covid should suffice.

Thank you, currently the family doctor is okay to register all vaccine records for me in NZ system( I do have it in Turkish but no date shows up at all, really lousy card) but I don't know whether the embassy will ask for original immunization records or not. Not sure the immunization record is for medical exams only or also will be asked by the embassy

The embassy wont ask, it is up to the medical examiners if you are medically cleared or not. The embassy are not medical professionals, they just go off of what the medical says.

Hi there.

My CN is: EU342XX
My Embassy is: Brussels

I have just been accepted to a Master's program in the US, and I am also still waiting for my CN to go current. The program starts in August. If my CN does not go current and/or I do not get scheduled an interview before August, which is rather likely since I have a high CN, I am going to have to apply for an F-1 Student visa. Am I likely to get rejected for this visa since I have shown intent to immigrate by submitting a DS-260 which has already been processed? It would be a blessing to get an interview by July, so I am crossing my fingers, but this situation is stressing me out.

Basically, am I now permanently ineligible for an F-1 Student Visa as I have submitted a DS-260, even if I never end up getting an interview due to high CN?

You wouldn’t be getting dozen of doses for the required vaccines, some will be deemed medically inappropriate due to age reason, even if you’re unable to present your childhood vaccine records to the panel surgeon. Attend your medical appointment as scheduled prior to your interview appointment at the embassy. The embassy will not request to see the immunization records outside of whatever gets listed on the medical report.

A quick question, after entering the U.S, do we need to apply for SSN?
Most people receive the SSN in the mail within 2 to 3 weeks of entering the US if they selected the option for the SSN to be applied for on their behalf on the DS260 form. A few fall through the cracks and do not receive the card. Those folks subsequently end up applying after waiting a while.

No, you’re not permanently ineligible for a NIV. You’ll need to be able to demonstrate an immigrant intent no longer exists in that case and you do intend to depart from the US at the conclusion of your program. Same way you would have been required to demonstrate you have no immigrant intent if you were never selected in the first.

Hello everyone here

I applaud the insights here as they have been very fruitful.

I am AF56*** and recently unlocked my DS260 to add my wife whom we have previously got married and have 2 children who are part of my case. However in my initial application for DV, my agent indicated single during the application. Is there any cause for any worries for changing status

Secondly we made an error on the date of birth of our child, and we put 27th Nov 2011 instead of 28th Nov2011 I'm wondering how we can rectify it? or can it rectified during our interview

If you were already married at the time of the DV registration and your entry was submitted as single, your case will be denied at the interview.

This is a minor issue which can be updated at the interview.

Hi Sm1smom

I am a DV 2023 winner . In my initial entry I made a mistake in the month of my birthday instead of March I put June but the day and year was correct . In my DS260 I put the correct information ( March )
I would like to know if I can be denied for this error .
Thanks in advance
