DV 2023 All Selectees (Consular Processing - CP)

If you were already married at the time of the DV registration and your entry was submitted as single, your case will be denied at the interview.

This is a minor issue which can be updated at the interview.
On the marriage, actually we were not yet married but we had children. Just got married last weekend on 18th/Feb. And even in the registry we didn't have a record of marriage

Did you include your children? Admittedly I am not sure how it works but did you list them on the DS-260?

Hi Sm1smom

I am a DV 2023 winner . In my initial entry I made a mistake in the month of my birthday instead of March I put June but the day and year was correct . In my DS260 I put the correct information ( March )
I would like to know if I can be denied for this error .
Thanks in advance
If the error is not deemed to be something that was done to enable a multiple entry submission, it shouldn’t lead to a denial.

This doesn’t make sense considering your initial post says you were “previously married” and you also wrote the agent listed you as single. The bolded part of your below quoted post is at odd with your follow up response. Anyway, I’m not the CO that would adjudicate your case, you’ll find out one way or the other at the end of the interview.
I am AF56*** and recently unlocked my DS260 to add my wife whom we have previously got married and have 2 children who are part of my case. However in my initial application for DV, my agent indicated single during the application. Is there any cause for any worries for changing status

I think it's a language issue. I guess they meant recently instead of previously. However, having children and being single seems contradictory to me but I guess they'll find out at the interview.

If they meant recently instead of previous, it makes no sense that they also stated they were listed as single. Having children and being single however does not seem contradictory to me considering it is possible for unmarried partners to have children together. Being married is not a condition for having children.

Anyway, my guess is OP was traditionally married, so they had no marriage certificate for demonstrating they were married at the time of the DV registration, (considering OP’s follow up post says “And even in the registry we didn't have a record of marriage”), hence the DV registration as single, and the use of the phrase “previously married”.

Greetings every one,

Just a quick one, what is the mandatory age that one must take COVID vaccination for the children ?
From 6 months.

Hi mom!

My case number is EU4###.
I filled out the ds-260 in June. Then I got married in August and refilled the ds-260 on September 1st. But so far I have not received an invitation, however my case number is 4k. What do you know about it? Could you predict me the approximate date of the invitation and will it come at all?

Thank you.

I’m sorry I can’t predict when you’re likely to be invited for your interview.

No one can predict how long you should or would need to wait. There are several factors involved with when the interview gets scheduled, factors such as when you submitted your DS260 + when the KCC completes processing the form + when the CN becomes current + the capacity of the embassy where the interview is supposed to take place, etc.

Okay thank you , by any chance can one with high case number be interviewed before a person of low case number? E.g Af40000 before Af20000

Yes it is possible if all the conditions I already listed above were met for the higher 4xxxx CN before that of the lower 2xxxx CN.

Bonjour chers tous, pourriez-vous me dire si mon ambassade est en retard ou à jour ? Je suis de Kinshasa en République Démocratique du Congo

Hi everyone,

I just have the medical exam today in Auckland, but the super-wired thing is the doctors there are not accepted i-693 I brought, and give me a wired form that has already expired(they insist that is the correct form). Also, they didn't accept the 5*5 passport-size photo and take the 35 mm wide and 45 mm high NZ passport size photos. Does anyone share the same experience?
