DV 2022 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Only

From 1 October you can add the covid vaccine to those required (i know you indirectly mentioned this but did not name it!!).
It's also absent in the spreadsheet where I took the list from.
Varicella is not required for people who have had chickenpox.
If I understand correctly, for that you need either proof from the home country or a lab test.
You can get lab tests done and only get the shots you actually need, at least for some of these. It will probably end up costing the same, but it's pretty fast and some people may prefer it to getting unnecessary shots.
Yes, it's an option. We decided to get vaccines – this is why I posted timeframes.

Yes, it is absent from the spreadsheet. However, the absence was already explained here

Documented proof for varicella is not necessarily required. Simply stating CS one already had chicken pox in the past is enough for most, if not all the CS.

For those of you who received the DV fee payment receipt, how long did it take for you to receive the receipt after your money order was cashed? Mine was cashed on September 2 and I havent heard back from them yet! I heard it usually takes 4 to 6 weeks but one of my friend got his receipt in less than 2 weeks this year, so just asking for your experience this year. Thanks y'all in advance

You can also check that in the timeline spreadsheet.

To ask an obvious question- you enclosed a SASE?

Hello again,

My spouse is going to file an EAD renewal soon using her current category. When filing the AOS does she need to file the additional EAD application using the AOS category or can she proceed with the first application?

Thank you!

She does not "need" to file an AOS based EAD if she does not plan on using it. There are caveats to using an AOS based EAD, which is covered on the AOS process spreadsheet.

Hi ,

i won the dv lottery and i'm in states, i'm sending the AOS payment to the DOS should i use the whole case number including the "zeros" the reason of my question is because i read that in the ds-260 could cause validation errors, so just want to know if going forward i should use it without zeros in my i-485 form.

thanks much

For the AOS fee the whole case number will work fine.

Your CN will not be listed on the I-485 form. For the DV payment form, list out the CN in full, (with the leading zeros included).

Hi All. First, thank you so much for this thread. It is very helpful. We were selected in the DV2022 with a high number (SA000021XX). I am in the USA on a J-1 and my husband's J-2 visa. I have a question. I had an extension of the program to the maximum possible, 5 years. MY previous DS2019 plus the visa stamp was not subject to the 2 years requirement. I haven't changed the program nor funding or visitor skills. They only made an amended extension with the same case number/program. I am wondering whether the FO can complain that the amended new DS2019 is blank/empty in the 2 years requirement section. Do we need a DOS advisory opinion? As you know, we don't have too much time to do something wrong. When it becomes current in the VB, we are going to submit all the AOS with the early filling.
Thank you in advance!

Like you rightly noted, you don't want to leave room for error. So if in doubt, obtain a DOS advisory opinion.
