DId your cased pass state and was it transfered to Chicago regional office already before being sent to Dallas?

I haven't heard of anything about Wisc SWA cases in Dallas which have never made it to Chicago regional. My guess is they are still sitting in the boxes, not being data entered yet.

As I know of, Wisconsin was processing June/04 cases before they sent everything to Dallas Backlog center. So, I bet you are a regional case. Please confirm!

Where is queue-god at the moment?

Please tell me if the RIR queue (even for a short while) moves to May 2002 cases, cause that is where I am...right at the start (May 1 2002 PD)

Its been more than 90 days after replying to 45 day letter. So I called up Dallas BEC from doleta.... website and person who picked up the phone transfered us to recorded message that they cann't give any status or date.

Anybody else in same boat, I know few people have contacted, any other information available.

And yes to Srinivas you told us you will give details and confirm the PD, but haven't heard from you. Kindly give details like PD, RD, which BEC and all.

Mine was trasnferred to regional in Nov 2004

Yes Manzi mine was trasnferred to regional in Nov 2004. I am not sure what is the status of application from wisc state directly. But I think it might be a while before they get entered into the system.

Hello all!

1. I apologize in advance for posting this message in this forum (maybe not relevant forum - however, I am posting it here because I believe many of you are in the same situation as I am in; so hopefully some of you will be able to help me).

2. I need to extend my H-1 (another 1-year increment thing, for the 9'th year). Does the new PERM regulations affect or change in any way how we submit LCA (possibly online to http://www.lca.doleta.gov/) and thereafter submit I-129 to USCIS? Is the process still the same as the pre-PERM days (say June 2004) or there have been changes?

3. Does the new PERM regulations affect or change in any way how we determine the prevailing wage?

4. I really appreciate your valuable input and relevant links, etc, that you can kindly provide.

BPC or PERM?

Hello folks, here is a question for you. I know this is not a right forum, but I am sure this forum has right members to discuss this issue with -

Here is my situation:

I have 2+ years left on H1B

I am with my current company (let's call it company A) for about 5 years. (They are well known and very good).

MS + 5 years of experience
IL SESA PD July 2004, RIR EB2
never went to DOL
Case is in DBPC now (obviously!)

I have a very good offer (@ 25% sal hike) from company B (this is also a very good company). Company B is ready to start my GC in PERM ASAP. I talked to their lawyer and she assured me of filing EB2 in PERM. The position is in IT, non-managerial.

- Is it safe enough and advisable to leave the current GC process (labor, basically), and start afresh?
- Does MS + 5 years satisfy PERM EB2 reqs?
- Is anyone in similar situation thinking of the same? (please send me a PM if someone is in similar situation and wish to discuss)
- Could someone point me to a compiled list of disadvantages of PERM?
