can you only inquire about the finger prints on this email address or can you also check the case status. My PD became current Mar 1st. I got a response to my phone inquire on 2/28 that the visas for my country are not available. does that mean that everything else is done?

when should i expect an approval? any help will be appreciated.

My apologies for posting off topic of this thread but thought
I will post here to get opinions of GP111 and other gurus i have been
following for a long time....

I am getting ready to apply for my I140 but it was
brought to my attention it will be hard for me to apply
as EB2 (even though I have a Masters + 2 years of experience)

My certified labor specifies following:

Box 14:
MS + 2-4 years experience

Box 15:
Masters Degree or Foreign academic equivalent
in any engineering with 2-4 years experience;
or Bachelors Degree or foreign academic
equivalent with 4 years of experience


I guess because of BS + 4 requirements in Box 15 I will have
to apply as EB3 which is a bummer !

Is that right ? or can I file as both EB2 and EB3 and hope for the
best using the same labor ?

I have also finally :rolleyes: recvd FP notice. Its notice date is 2/24 and is scheduled for 3/11.

Any rumors about the dates in the next visa bulletin? Any estimates.....maybe we should start betting on predictions of the dates in future bulletins :)

I don't understand why you have been told that you cannot apply in EB-2. The LC asks for MS+2 to4 (box 14) & you qualification is MS+2, this makes you eligible for EB-2. your attorney was stupid enough to put contraductory lines in Box 15.. but you are still fine.

if you want (I don't believe its required), you can file in both EB-2 & EB-3 (investment of extra $ 190) & see how things goes
 
EB-2:
My bet: June 1st 2002
My friend's bet: June 1st 2002

EB-3:
My bet: May 1st 2001

EB2:india - 10 months
EB3:india - 1 yr 4 months

I know it is a long shot.....but thats where my PD are. :p...wishful thinking
 
Looking at Trend April Dates may be

India EB-2 : June 01 2002
India EB-3 : May 01, 2001

just an educated guess

last time i emailed them 3 months back i got a reply visa numbers not available.

I am thinking of applying for both EB2 and EB3 just to be on safe side
and you right I have no idea why the attorney put the contradictory
requirement, it could just have been MS... grrrrrrrrr

New 140 Approval...

Hi all,
I recently received the customary email about my 140 approval from USCIS. I filed concurrent 140/485 and have already finished biometrics. As the PD dates are not current for me, do I just sit tight until the dates are current or should I check for name-check process completion? Is there anything else that I can follow up until the dates are current.

Need some inputs GP

So, if I have my spouse start a company on EAD and I start working for it, can I still prove that I am working in similar capacity or will the approving authorities smell a rat coz of the spouse being involved

Status - 140 approved and almost 7 months over since filing 485

It seems that I can consider myself as a retro-country citizen since the dates do not move at all even for current PD but not that old ND.

sent two emails to 485 XII email account but no response. frustrating!

Yep. Current processing policy seems to be very negative
for newer applications for non-retro country.
Offical announcement is that non-retro cases are not affected
but that's a lie.
When retro happens, everybody gets affected, I've learned.
