Hi JustLCed,

Same thing here i got my EAD card and no news on my AP. Some guys beyond my date got AP approved but no news on EAD?

Gurus, please respond is this normal?

EAD and AP sometimes come consecutively and sometimes they are weeks apart. Please dont worry. AP normally comes 2-3 weeks after EAD.

Need of the hour is a system to know status - they have apparently stopped answering phone calls and all emails. Maybe we should all start to bug FBI. A system like USCIS or at least the good old AVM (for LC) would help A LOT.

Cant understand how can FBI get away without having to provide any status when they are a public body funded by public (including us) tax dollars.

In general anywhere there is lack of transparency, its usually a hotbed of random behaviour and corruption. Look at the fiasco at BECs.

We need transparency. Period. I see 1000s of post everyday regarding retro, but not a single one to force FBI to have a simple status system for the name checks. Ridiculous. We arent getting any GCs until we get our name checks done.

Address change

Hi GP111,

I moved to new address. Can i call National Service Center and update the address or only my attorney can do?

Also after updating the new address will there be a LUD change on all?

Dont worry. It seems that the USCIS posts these dates just once a month & essentially it is obsolete data.

Check the aila.org for processing times on 5th and 20th of each month (for some reason the 20th update for CSC did not come up in october on aila's site).

You have to call the NSC & ask them to change address in all pending applications. You can also change address in your Spouse's applications if she is present with you (or in conference) at the time of calling NSC.

You also need to file AR-11.

You will see LUD in few days after address change.

doesold processing date

They have updated the processing dates,
Does anyone have the old processing dates? If we have that we can find out which applications are they processing

I140/I485/I765/I131 RD: Aug 24 2005
I765/I131 AD: Sep 29

You can find all the old processing dates here:

aila.org just posts 2-3 days in advance. The content is the same.

True. But the info most likely is obsolete.

For e.g. for NSC, the dates are "Exactly" same as the ones published on 10/15. Do we assume that all of NSC staff went on vacation during that time. Probably not.

NSC has been on fire for last 2-3 months. The dates have been advancing 5 months for 140 processing and 4 months for 485 processing each month. Even on 10/15 it showed that it moved 1 month for 140 processing and 2 months for 485 processing as compared to dates on 10/1.

This is the reason why we should see just the dates published by aila twice a month - which are more upto date.

Disclaimer - I dont have any official insights into NSC / CSC. I'm telling all this just by observation, and inferences of other people in these forums.

recapture old priority

Anyone has experience in recapturing older priority date using previous employer's I-140 approval notice? Will it cause more delay (because they have to get my older archived I-140 approval files)? My company filed my I-140 under EB-3 category on 24th Aug'2005, no LUD till today.
