CSC August 2005 Filing I-140 Tracking

Probably.
I am from neither country and my category is FAR from being almost current - it's May 01 (EB3, rest of the world).

So, it did not make sense to me, but then again - I am from neither country, so I guess who cares :)

Hey,

I know EB3 category sucks man... and its for everybody.... no bias

Looks like another -slow- week

Whats going on with CSC? They worked hardly two weeks or so.... thats it!!
Looks like now they are back on 'vacations'.
I think, this week is again a slow week and probably they will be back to work by end of the month or so.
Iam not seeing any movement of cases filed in September (with RD) month end.

:p

I hope that is not true.
did you have such a experience before also? from where you got the "vacation" idea? have you seen 1-2 weeks slow down on the CSC? obviously they were very slow (almost stoped) in all fields last week I hope it doesn't continue for this week ...

Take it easy man...

Vacation idea is stemmed from the last Christmas season, during that period until the end of January [absolutely] there was no movement at all. Then obviously we started guessing in different ways citing different reasons for the delays, and 'vacation' idea seemed to be more reasonable guess. See.....we have no way of knowing whats going on with CSC and how they allocating -or- prioritising their resources, and what makes them to slow down. All we can do is some little bit research here and there to better approximate the situation. Correct?

Yes, I have seen CSC slowing down tremendously during last few months until the beginging of Febrauary.

Hope they will not go into that mood again. Last week they were almost silent and looks like this week too. There were couple of LUDs that some body seen during the last weekend too.

Lets hope they will approve the cases with in 6-months time-frame.

:p

Two - I140's using same labor...

Gurus,

i need your suggestion...

My I-140 filed under EB3 ( instead of EB2 ) and Approved and H1 extension approved ( 3 years extension based on approved eb3 140) .

Recently i saw some posting in forums and checked my 140 approval copy ... then i realised my laywer did mistake ....my approved 140 is EB3 not EB2

My question is can i apply I-140 under EB2 using same labor ( Masters + 6 Year Exp) eventhough already I-140 approved under EB3 using same labor certification....

thanks for your help..

Second PERM?

Hi all,

Does anybody know if a company can file for a second PERM for the same employee?

The problem is that my attorney screwed up my first PERM. He has put the BS degree as alternative job requirement in the PERM form and my I-140 which filed on Aug 2005(EB2) soon will be rejected! (they have issued RFE)

Then he tried to file another PERM (with different job requirement) which
will be quilified for EB2 but Labor denied the case right away saying that you
have another pending(!) PERM application for the same employee....
My attorney has written them back explaining that the job position is different and all that..... but I'm not sure if Labor dep. will buy that.

Any idea/suggestion? any similar case?

Thanks

now i see.. every where these lawyers screwed up people...only desi lawyers are doing these kind of mess up....they intensionally doing these things????? or simply they don't know exactly what they are doing or what to do???????? useless fellows..( not all)... who ever do mistake finally it affect us..

Can I keep my PD when changing Employer?

Guys,

I will really appreciate any help if you happen to know this.

I have an approved Labor Cert and I-140 and just yesterday received a 3-years extension, the one you are allowed to get after I-140 approval. My PD is Aug 2002, (long way away) and it was under EB3.

I have been declining job-offers for obvious reasons. Now, I am very confused. I don;t want to decline this offer. Let me ask you this -

Q1 - Can I join another company and transfer my H1 (the post I-140 extension 3 years extenssion)?

Q2- Can I keep my PD (from my current employer) which is July 2002.

I don't want to loose this PD though I think that with PERM and EB2 moving faster, it will work out well but I don;t want to be complacent.

So, anybody on same boat? Any published material on this will help.

Thanks
G2 - Give me one

Any clues?

YES. CSC Guys will have more time to go on vacation, than they used to take
for a month to two months. Remember there was no movement during Dec,
Jan, middle of Feb. Same thing....

Dam!!!!!

We are already waited 6 months, now because of this re-shuffle, we got to
wait atleast 2 more months. If there happens to be RFE at the end of 2nd
months, then got to wait 2 more months. ALTOGETHER, 1 year just to get
140 approval. Ridiculous!!!

Did you call them at 1(800)? and whats the expected time-frame for the
re-shuffled cases? Will there be a different receipt number now? or just
the same WAC number? Whats the order of processing? Will CSC start
processing any late FEB or early MARCH cases, making them to get it
approved than those guys who filed last year?
