Concurrent Filing - Using Cross Chargeability

Need Help

Hi,

I am not new to this great web site but new to I-485 Forum. My case is EB3 India.
But fortunately I am filling using CC based on my wife's birth country (UK). I am working in Los Angeles.

I just spoke with my lawyer's legal Assistance and she told me that they will file my case on May 1st at NSC. So far it’s been a great experience with my lawyer and has no complaints whatsoever. They know what they are doing.

The only confusion I have that why NSC? I believe it should be TSC. Am I wrong guys?

Please do reply!.

Thanks,
VS

Hello VS,
If you're in CA, your application would go to the NSC. As part of the bi-specialization program, all employment based AOS applications now go to the NSC or the TSC. NSC handles all former CSC cases, and TSC does the VSC cases. I live in NH, one state over from the VSC and my cases were sent down to TX on March 15.

Hi VS,

As Ks said, your case will go to the NSC. However, you may get lucky and NSC may internally transfer it to TSC :) I say lucky because in general TSC seems to process cases faster than NSC.

Welcome to the CC board and good luck!

Prej,

I just noticed that there is no information about FP in your signature. Is it true that you haven’t received the FP notice yet?

Thanks,

I140/I485/ead/ap concurrent filing/receipts

Hi, finally attorney gave me a receipt # for I140. He has been telling he has filed the I140/485/ap/ead concurrently since last 5 weeks back. I140 is filed as PP. Today he said he has not got yet receipts in mail, but got a email for I140 application received. In my case, I am porting PD from few years back old I140. In a email for I140, the Priority Date showed as to be determined and application receive date is yesterday. Does this mean, my lawyer must have filed recently and he lied me. Other question, is this normal to get email for I140 only not other I485/ead/ap. Are the receipt numbers comes in sequence when filed concurrently, because when I check the previous two numeber of my I140 receipt numbers, it shows for EAD and AP. My I140 email came from Texas center. Thanks.

Thanks

Hey guys,
Thanks for your good wishes. They do mean a lot. I appreciate it.
Everyone have a lovely weekend.

Please add me in!

Hi Guys,

My labor got approved in Mar'01,2007. Since I have priority date we applied concurrently. My lawer got a phone call from USCIS that all of the checks my employer wrote were having address stickers. They asked us to send new checks. We send all checks again without any address change stickers on them.

Now I am waiting for my case numbers!:)

Here are my details.

PD: Dec-11-2002, NJ
Labor approved: 01-Mar-2007
I-140 filed: 23-Apr-07 (PP) Waiting
I-485 filed: 23-Apr-07 Waiting

Still,

My FP was done on 04/02/2007; Can you please update? Also, I do not see a column indicating I140 approval; You are not tracking I140 approval, Correct?

Thanks!

Hi WellWisher007,

Ur FP date has been updated in the tracker.
I-140 related column(s) are missing because even though this is a CC using concurrent filing forum, it has little affect on I-485 approvals(read getting stuck). Rather our focus was(is) more on I-485.

Adding it now might lead to non-availablity of data for some old folks as they have become a little non-regular on the forum now.

Warm regards,
Still

Hi Mano4GC,

I have added ur details to the tracker even though ur signature does not reaveal CC-usage.
Since ur PD is 2006 Oct, u(and ur spouse) can either be from a non-retrogressed country or used CC. Since u r in this forum Iam assuming u used CC.

Sorry for any inconvenience that I may have caused.

Warm regards,

Hi Ks_cc,

Now use the POJ method to ask what is the status of your namecheck, if they also confirm that ur NC is complete then u can sit back relax and should get ur GC within a month.

My 2 cents.

Hi Still
Thanks for updating the tracker. My name check reports as "In Process" not complete, according to the FBI/DOJ letter I received. I've seen cases on the board where folks who received similar letters got themselves dug out of the whole after a month or two, so I remain hopeful. The saving grace is that it doesn't say "Pending". The optimal would've been for the letter to state that my name check was finalized and sent to the USCIS on blah, but hey, what do you do?
