Hi priya,
During I-140 ,no difference between Eb2 &Eb3.actually,eb3 cases are moving faster than eb2 cases in INS neberska. But when u apply 485 it matters.since both ,i mean eb2&3 r current it is not a problem, otherwise u have to wait till it become current to apply 485.I think it clears yr doubts

Hi wxm8

Waiting for good news from you.
But it seems it is not moving fast.
Only some approvals 054080XX, 054081XX.

Nanaji

I am confuse

Hi Nanaji999,wxm8

I am confuse about how the case number they are clearing.
I applied same logic and tried some 054100xx number received on may30th and has been approved on july2nd. I am not sure if they are doing random or according to DOT code or with some other formula. Let me know if I am doing something wrong.

Re : jbm

I think the way how they review cases depends
on DOT Code and RIR/Non RIR

for example if you are Prof / Teacher for some college/university
it gets approved very fast , within 2 weeks after RD

if you are IT related jobs, it takes about 3 to 3.5 months
for RIR

if you are cook, it takes about 3-5 months for RIR

if you are cleaner/gardener , it just take couple days after RD
because they have to wait very long time in local

and when they take RIR case, seems they follow the RD
but it depends on the officer which case # he/she wants to
review

and this week, seems only one analyst working on it compare
to last week, I think about 3 analysts working on it

I think that's the logic, "Random in Pattern" :)

Current RIR processing

They are starting to process cases # with RD April 1, 2002
for RIR

Hi jbm, wxm8

You are 100 correct. I saw some cases are getting approved within few days( and weeks).
About no of analysts working wxm8 How do you know
is it a guess based on speed with which they are certifying cases?

Nanaji

RE: nanaji

I think based on speed and sometimes I email
Officer in Labor, so far that person very responsive to my
email but this week, that person has not respond to
my email :)

When you called DOL officer in Chicago, are they realy
friendly and helpful ?

Any recommendation which DOL officer that I can call

Updated SESA/ DOL tracker

Hi All,

Please feel free to post your incomplete details in this tracker, or you want to include your information in the tracker. I tried to add couple of more fields to calculate no of days at each stage (it's not very accurate, because I used days360 function in excel, which count 360 days per year not 365). If we can get missing date/ information posted then we can trend SESA/ DOL time.

Hi Wxm8, When I checked after 8:00 pm yesterday, AVM was working fine, (it gave my status by company phone number)
Did it worked for you yesterday ? Did you get chance to talk to someone with Chicago DOL about your case status ?

Let us know.

Thanks,

JB

Wxm8, can we refrase 'it takes about two months for your cases to be put on Automated Voice message after Local SESA' sentence. because all the case I seen recently, it updated very soon after they get file/case from SESA. Let me know if I am missing any point or misunderstood something.

And for DOL website time for all the region, can we add following url ? http://workforcesecurity.doleta.gov/foreign/times.asp

Thank You,

JB

Hi Everyone,

I have checked my case # 054091xx RD 04/26/2002 on AVM. It just says that they have received the file and give the number and receipt date. It doesn't talk about the file status. Is there some other way that I can verify if the file is in process or not ?
