Incomplete FAQ on Labor Certification in Chicago

- Seems there are two analysts working on RIR case
- It usually takes 3 to 3.5 months for RIR cases (for most of IT) and
takes about 2.5 years for Regular from your receipt date
- It usually takes about 6 to 10 days to receive Hard Copy after your case get certified
- If you running out of time in your H1-B (close to 6 years), Is possible to make a request
to DOL officer to expedite your case (give them your request and proof that you're 6 years
almost up) (USE WITH YOUR OWN RISK, I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE)

Last two weeks they started certifying cases from 054070xx to
054079xx. How they are working? So after completing the 79XX
series they will start 054080XX to 054089XX?
I think some times there will be more than two guys working on
RIR cases depending on their work load. They have cleared a lot of cases for the last two weeks. I hope they will maintain the pace!
Do we need to submit our w2 forms for I 140? any idea?

I think we do, I don't think it's necassary, but to show that benificiary was in status (was getting paid) all the time. (or he/ she was not out of status by not getting paid) . Otherwise if they suspect then they can send REF and it will coast us other 2-3 months delay.

Pl let me know.Mine was Sent to SESA on Mar 18th.still I dont know anything abt my case.
when i call the automatic phone machine.It gives give some cases.there is one case sent to DOL on May20th.I dont know whether it is mine or not.

Nop, I got recepit date from AVM system.
Fortunately I was checking AVM system by curiosity, and I enter my company main number. it gave me my case number, I called attorney, they didn't received any papaerwork, but they told me they will verify with DOL. Then I called one number from that list, I don't remember name or number, but after couple of transfer they gave me detail by providing my company name and my name. They are very nice and co-operative.
Call them to double check, but I think the 20th May DOL RD would be yours. based on mine and Puneet_gcard timeline.
Mine number 54109xx (RD 6/27 and PD 04/24).
I am in process of updating traker, will be done in couples of days.
But I think according trend your Labor would be approve in august (next month) so i think you need to start preparing for i-140 (choose option betweek CP or AOS) paperwork. so when you received labor you can file for 1-140 without delay.

almost approved 1000 cases i.e from 054070xx to 054079xx
in some 10 working days. It is very fast.

Mine is 054095xx and RD is May 14th, so if the number you
are getting should be around 054097xx or 054098xx.

Priya, I feel from trend, your RD should be may 13th and case # 054095XX. ( could you verify from DOt code ? ) (becuase your and puneet_gcard SESE date was 20 days appart, so should be similar for DOL RD)
And from the forum I am getting feeling they are very much co-ordinative and nice people at labor dept. (unlike goverment employee in our country ) My talk with them was nice, and I don't think they wrote my number, so don't worry and call them.
