By god's grace, My LC has finally been approved after 4.5 long years.
PD ==> 04/01. (state of IN) Approval date ==> 07/07/05
thought I posted it in some forum, but it might have been the figment of my imagination.

Good luck to all waiters and keep the faith, your approvals will come soon.

I have a frien from Atlanta whose PD is mid June. His file moved to Philly maybe a couple days before it was to be processed by the GA regional office.

He did not get his 45-days letter yet, or so says his lawyer....

Is that reasonable or should he be worried...

I will appreciate your input on the matter.

This is probably good news for most people. But it brings no news for people from New York and New Jersey. For these states, most of the cases are still in unopenned boxes, in the same mess of the SWAs that they came from. Tremendous efforts are required to sort through this mess, and it doesn't look like resources are being shifted to help on this task. Apparently these boxes will be accumulating dust for some more time, and very few approvals will be coming out of them. But here in NY/NJ, pain is our middle name already.
