BEC Priority Date Tracker

Thx

It seems that the ETA number has a certain format - such as
P-05117-71234

P means a 'normal' case data entry
T means a expedited data entry, due to an enquiry.

-05117 in this case means the 117th day of 2005. This code gives the date on which the case data was entered into the BEC database. You can check this out if you like, you will find no day entries for weekends or holidays.

-72345 I think this is just a serial number assigned on the day that the case data was entered. I know of no other meaninng for this data, and since giving the complete number would allow others access to our files then I suggest that this part of the number is not shared.
If anyone has any theories to a deeper meaning in the last 5 digits then I would like to hear it.

Have patience...

It takes anywhere between 2-3 weeks to get a response from PBEC.
I got a mail with the ETA Case No. T-05140-3**** for my 7th year H1 extension. It is a matter of time before they send your case no.

ZB - Can you please update the tracker with my temporary ETA Case # ?

My lawyer sent it to the same address on 23-Jun.
No response yet.
IF you receive a response, please let me know. Thanks.

GC_from_NJ: did you receive response by mail or by email? did your attorney receive it or the response sent to you? thanks

By email

I had mailed it out and the response was received by email. My company also got the same when they emailed them. Hope this helps...

please help!

EB3
PD: 5/2001
(what does RD mean? )
My case was converted to RIR on 1/2004.
Moved to Dallas back-log center before 1/1/2005. No 45-letter yet.

It's said all cases will be processed based on PD. Is that true? If yes, then which date should it be used to track my case?

sooooo frustrated!!!!

My case has dates very similar to your dates. I wonder why your case didn't make it to Regional DOL. Initiate an enquiry ASAP through your lawyer or employer.

How to inquire?

I guess there are several SWA offices in the state and the one where my application was submitted was processing applications slowly. My application was about to be processed before they began to ship the cases to the Philly BEC. My lawyer knows my situation and did not offer me any solution other than waiting or applying through another category.

How can I initiate an inquiry through my employer? I submitted an e.mail to the Philly BEC and they were not able to give me any information about the status of my application. From the database provided by this forum, I know that there are some people who applied from VA about the same time that I did and whose applications also did not make it to the regional office.

I am open to recommendations and consider anything that sounds logical.

Thanks!

SWA NY

Philly BPC 05090-xxxxx

This one is a bit confusing. NY SWA goes to NY DOL which you say went in June '02. Are you saying your case was transferred from NY DOL to Philly BPC?

I am also waiting to hear something about Regular LCs. Most of the people here are in RIR queue. Looks like we may have to open a separate thread for Regular folks.

Update please..

Justwatching - Could you please update the tracker with my temporary ETA Case # - T-05140-30XXX.

The tracker has both Regular and RIR cases, you can filter the cases to see just Regular cases.
