Waiting for NOF details

Still havent recd the official NOF notice in hand from DOL - but i am pretty sure its about the prevailing wage. I will be gone on vacation for almost a month - will leave things in the hands of the lawyer. Hopefully i get a nice "certified" present when i come back! :) All you guys have a wonderful vacation season & thanks for your support & encouragement again! Will catch up later.
 
Sorry GCeeker05, i didnt mean to hurt you, but i have been active member in this forum for almost a year..and the trend is...whenever holiday season it is very slow or nothing.. i am also on your boat waiting for my turn.. :eek:

Question about the recent LC case

My LC application was sent to Atlanta from Florida state DOL on 08/12/04, but didn't receive a notice yet, I called the lawer, she said it takes 6 month to put in the database. Anybody has the same experience or know that? How come it takes so long to get a case#. Thanks.

Don't worry, my case was forwarded to ATL in April 22 2004 and I got the case number just few weeks ago. And ATL DOL is not sending any receiving letter. It's a long and painfull process.
 
At least they are processing

I found at least one case worked on 11/24/2004 case number 04404450
with NOF

When your application was forwarded from state to federal, did you receive any confirmation letter from Atlanta dol acknowledging the receipt of your application?

If you did receive a letter from Atlanta DOL, did they assign you a case number? Or case number can ONLY be found out through the AVM?

I did not received any confirmation letter from ATL DOL, I received from state a confirmation leter that my case was forward to ATL DOL , then I tried AVM once a week until I found my case number, it was about 7 months latter since the case was forward to ATL DOL
 
No updates on my case also. I talked to my attorney yesterday. She said she got a fax from DOL on October 2004 saying that the case was moved on June 4th 2004. But when she contacted them again saying that the date was incorrect they corrected it to the correct date which is June 23 2003. Some one must have misplaced or mistyped the information..After all it is just a file for them :). She said according to the DOL site they are processing May 2003 cases, so when it gets updated to June 2003 she will follow up with DOL
 
Case Certified

My case was sent to ATL DOL on June 2nd 2003 with DOT code 030.162-014.

Just got an email from HR that my case has been certified on November 19, 2004. With DOT code 030.062-010.

Cross checked on AVM. The case is certified.

The only concerning thing is the change in DOT code.

Can somebody tell me what 030.062-010 stands for.

Found what this DOT 030.062-010 means

Its SOFTWARE ENGINEER/COMPUTER ENGINEER.

Company had requested for PROGRAMMER/ANALYST.

Do I care ? Naaahhhhh
