Going to India!

Friends,
I am going to India for a couple of weeks. Can any one send me a link, if you have, for what all documents I need for 140/485 - I may have to get some from India.

I am too lazy to find the link :p

Hopefully I will be certified when I come back

AVM is UP

Same old message.....

I started hating, to hear the word recieved  and that too after hearing the received date DOT Code bla bla bla

check www.immihelp.com , they are pretty good help for what documents you need to file next phase of GC. Happy Journey. Bring us some luck from India while you are coming back ;)

I checked 10-15 cases from the spreadsheet none of them changed. I think last update was on Nov 16th. I think this is too slow and frustrating. Iam guess if our case is not opened/certified by Dec 31st, it will go to BEC and queued there for long time, since BEC will follow FIFO method. Already we will (atleast my case) be pushed back due to priority date retrogress for EB3 category applicants. :(

The following data has been culled from the FLC Data centr website (aware courtesy this forum :D )

(unfortunately lose the formatting when I post the data, maybe u can import the data into excel, for a more friendly view)

My estimate is that these people were doing about 150 cases a month. But I guess that cant say much about what will happen in the rest of November and December on account of the holidays and anticipated vacation time.

So probably will close the year at July 2003

Can somebody explain two curious facts I found -

(1) Even cases filed with DOL in November 2003 have been certified (10 of them) while May 2003 filings (145 of them) are still pending

(2) Found a lot of names being repeated. The pending cases for the period May - Nov 26, 2003 drop from 1267 to about 900, if the duplicate names (both first name and last names) are excluded.

You can say some people got lucky, as per my lawyer at that time DOL had some contractors hired and those contractors processed lot of cases from June 2003 onward whereas the employees of DOL were still doing Nov 2002 at that time, so once may is done is is quiet possible that we will reach July / Aug in less than a month (Just a thought)

By the way where did you compile all this information, is it just the result from the file that is downloadable from FLCDAtacenter web site or this is from some other source. Please share this with everyone

If you are talking about the names listed with the cases, first you have to understand that those are supervisor's name, not the alien's name.

Did extensive jugglery of data downloaded from FLC Data Center and querying of data in excel sheets. Obviously left out data from April 2003 and before, but there could be some of those cases still pending

The data given says that 10 cases filed in November 2003 (not 2002, if any of those guys are still hanging then my deepest condolences to them) have been processed while May 2003 is still pending

The names I found are the names of the aliens, double checked with some in my area.

Nothing to do with the names of the supervisors or their employees working on the certification processes

hello
did any applicants whose case's have been trfd to atl in may 2004 recd a case no yet ?
ours was trfd on may 6th 2004 .
