Atlanta Regional DOL Tracker

I have generally seen that the AVM gets updated on Wednesdays and Fridays with the cases for days before that, Wednesay Gives for Friday, monday and Tuesday and Friday updates is for Wednesday and Thursday, I have observed this a lot. I am praying and Hoping that Friday update would take my case up [Rest we all know how predictable DOL is exactly like Atlanta Weather :p ], I have sent email to my Lawyer asking if She can call the ATL DOL live person, She has not replied back yet.

Thanx for the good wishes oanacn. BTW I do not see your name in the statuslist,

Believe me, I'd like to add it, unfortunately my case was forward to ATL in April 2004 and it's not received yet :(

hey, how were you able to pull out cases with certain dot codes and their status? can you do a query for dot code: 050.067-014 for cases with R_RO date from May 1, 2003 to July 31, 2003?
thanks.

Physical approval notice received.

Wanted to inform you people that Lawyer has received the Physical approval notice yesterday.
Thanks again for all the help and support I received from this board.
See you all in the 140/485 board

FYI: I will be going for Concurrent filling option.

I would say, add your name to the list and do not write the Case Number and DOT code, and once you get them update it.

So it means average it is taking between week to 2 weeks to recieve the Labor Certification. Man did your attorney give you a copy of that as I would like to get a copy of mine whenever it comes and frame it on the wall, as this is the longest I would have waited for anything in my life :p

I was wondering does DOL defines who will be EB3 and EB2?

Like earlier i was not able to get hold on one employer where i am loosing 6 to 8 months where i may fall into eb2.can we change this during or while applying 140 or 485???I found old manager where he can give a document with duties

No, DOL does not define EB2 or EB3 as far as I know, you have to specify it while filing for 140, but definately your Job requirement should match that for a EB2 category, for example, if your Job rewquirrement is Bachelor and 3 Years Experience and You have Masters and 2 years of Experience, you do not qualify for EB2, you are still EB3.

Do check with your lawyer about it .....

Well i have bachelors with 5 years of experience and doing master plus if i take experience of current employer i have 7 + years but my lawyer who prepared my labor says eb3. I am very much tied of this , not understanding properly

From what I know the experience with the current employer it doesn't count.

AVM is down, maybe they are updating the system

RIR vs Non RIR

Hi guys, a quick question.

At present the DOL (Atlanta) dates are showing May/June 2003 for both RIR as well as Non RIR. So does that mean, that at this point it won't really matter whether the case was filed as RIR or Non RIR, and both are subjected to be cleared with same priority and similar speed?

Any thoughts? Please advise.

Thanks in advance.

I belive it is solely dependent upon the Job Requirement, not your experience although your experience should match the Job Requirement, Also yes it is true that if you have worked with the employer who is filing your GC, the experience there would not count.

I would assume so. RIR and Non-RIR is really a matter at the state level right now as for Non-RIR for GA they are still hanging at April 2001 (Can you imagine that, it is crazy)

RIR vs. non-RIR

Yup, that's the same case in NC. RIR for state approval moves much faster than non-RIR at state level. At this time, Atlanta DOL (regional level) is at the same speed/date for RIR and non-RIR.
