Any late 2004 EB1 - I140 approved?

PP stamping experience in Miami

Thanks Robedo,

i just would like to share with you guys my pp stamping experience in Miami. I had all documents (income tax, W2, pay stubs, etc...) with me, however they didn't ask anything and the process was very fast, it took less than 5 minutes. The officer asked for my passport, I-94 and EAD's, stamped my pp, gave it back to me and said "congratulation, you are a permanent resident now, the plastic card will arrive within 03 months". That was all.

Good luck for all of you.

Dear Jag

A collegue of mine had his FP done on 29th Apr and got his 485 ap last friday. Yours should be around the corner.

7 months for EB-1C I485

concurrently filed I140/I485 in EB-1C multinational manager/exec

receipt date I140&I485 10/19/2004
approval date (I485) 5/19/2005
elapsed time: 7 months!

I140 was approved in April, but notice went to my employer -- not sure of exact date. Fingerprint notice 3/10/05 -- completed Apr. 28/05, so I485 approval was 3 weeks after fingerprinting.

New Journey starts

Got my GC approved, thanks everyone for sharing the information. Very useful site and good people.

Keep up the good spirit and good luck to all of you.

Here are my details
I-140/485 RD 1/13/05
I-140 AP 5/11/05
I-485 AP 5/11/05, status updated on site 5/24 and approval notice send
FP 03/26/05

Congrats mmm.
Yours must be the fastest approval I have ever seen. In fact my I-140 is approved on 21st April but no news on I-485 yet.!!

FP notice received today

Got my family's FP notice today. When FPs are completed late on in the process. Hoping that 485 can be approved quickly -

EB1C: (Multinational Exec, Texas center)
140: RD 10/4/2004. AD 4/15/05
FP notice: 5/31/05
485 RD 10/4/2004. AD ??

Robedo, Pl keep me informed about yr 485 approval. I am behind you by a few days. My I-140 was approved on 21st April 05.

To keep the thread alive, can report that my spouse and I got our fingerprints done today at a Application Support Center - took about 20 minutes at the middle of the day. The place was deserted.

So naturally thoughts turn to how long this last wait will take. I see that some EB1's have got their 485's approved 3-4 weeks after late FP - yet I also see that other cases take much longer.

140/485 RD: 10/4/04
140 AD 4/15/05
FP 6/9/05
485 AD ???

Robedo, Its easier to find logic in abstract art than in the doings of TSC. The current date for all EB1 categories for I-140 is 29th Nov. Yet no LUD on mine filed 5th Nov. Hope for the best for everyone.

I-485 approvals seem to have slowed down. There were cases of 485 approved in less than a month after 140 approval. Miy 140 was approved on April 20th and finger printing done even before that. In 10 days it will be 2 months to from 140 approval date.

Got an LUD on my EB1a I-140 this afternoon and the approval email just an hour ago. For some reason it took longer than necessary but I am happy that this step is done.

Jag59 and Robedo, Have you heard anything about your 485s. Its been 2 months for you Jag. Did you see any LUDs on your case around or after FP?

Nikka - Congrats for your 140 approval. Like I said 485 approvals have slowed down. Before me should be Robedo who has his 140 approval on 15th april and mine is 21st April. Yes it is 2 months from 140 approval.

Thanx Jag, I know its a little perverse to think in this way but with the 485 processing in EB3 category shut down for the next few months, hopefully TSC will reassign additional staff and speed up things.

Is it true that 485 has been shut down for EB3? That may mean it is shut down for us too!! Because the difference in processing between EB1 & EB3 is till 140 approvals only. This may explain the delay in 485 approval.
