Is your RFE ACK date has changed ?
for me the RFE ACK date has changed from 21 April to 21st Jun.
Since my & your officer is same (#289).
I am curious this happend to me only?

Case Transfer?

Is it normal to get an EB case transfered to an out of state BCIS office?

I've been hearing that cases transferred to Florida, TN,..?

Are these familly-based cases?

Any feedback will be appreciated

Our cases are EB cases. I am not sure why they transferred some cases to local office.

so much approval on nd/rd as march, april, even may 04.
we stuck with rfe, do you have any idea what do we need to do?
specially, your case is even not right (changing rfe date !!!!) :mad:

Our 485s were approved last friday, and we just got the emails. Following are my dates:

RD: 9/14/2001
ND: 9/24/2001
FP: 3/27/2003
RFE: 4/27/2004
RFE Acked: 5/12/2004
AP: 6/26/2004

Questions regarding RFE- Urgent

Hi,

I have filed my I-485 on a NIW and have now received an email stating that an RFE has been issued. I dont know the contents of the RFE though. I am currently using my H1- b visa which is to expire in a couple of days. I have my exams coming up in some time so I have not looked for a job as I need time to prepare for my exams. I would be unemployed after my H1- B expires. However, I do have a valid EAD.There should not be any problem regarding securing an employment as there are many openings in my field.

My qustion is what would the contents of an RFE for a NIW be like? Do I need to be employed? Would the fact that I do not have a permanent emplyoment after my H1- B expires create a problem for me? And do I need to submit evidence like permanent employment proof, W2 forms etc..

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It was with Officer #214. I had contacted the Senators office to help me since they are doing January cases and mine was a September 2001 case, plus my finger prints were going to expire very soon.

But your case is a Jan 2002 case, which is what they are processing right now. Also, your finger prints have already expired, so you will have to be finger printed again. I dont think the Senators office will be too helpful because they only want to look at overdue cases because there are already hundreds of those. Yours is not yet overdue.

Well my RFE is ack'ed on June 25th '04.
It appears I am in for a long wait..based on your story..Good luck..hope anyone cleared by 289 does post here that way we know he is awake :)

I Got my 485 Approved on Jul1.I wasnt expecting this before your pending cases with this off'er...
It was ack'ed on 25th june ie it took 3 business days for approval.
My case details.
EB2/RIR
ND:Apr 15 2002
FP: May 07 2003
RFE: Jun07 2004 (Biographic Info and legal stat)
RFE Ack: Jun25 2004
AD: Jul 01 2004.
