Just reply to RFE based on what is asked.

Regarding your case, it is totally separate from RFE. Have an employment letter from new employer with title, job description, salary all same ( or similar) and then send the details separately citing AC21 Section 106.C. Please do this separately else you will confuse officer. I suggest you keep gap of 3 weeks after RFE is ACKed.

Do not worry if you have a job, your case is quite normal.

here is my details

RD July 7th 2001

RFE ack Arpil 7th 2004

2nd FP on April 27th 2004

FBI sent the FP results to Lincoln, NE on May 7th,2004

Sent letter to officer 255 mentioning about my FP.

Sent an enquiry through 1-800 number

Also followed up with my local congressman office. They were extremely nice and very prompt in answering. They got a fax from INS on June 1st that they will order for my file.

It took almost 3 years to get the approval. I know it is really frustrating, people who are waiting for approval after
RFE. As I posted earlier, after FP, INS is doing name check
which is taking upto 6 weeks to complete. This could be one of the reason for delay.

But an important note for people who are waiting for approval after RFE. Try to do whatever you can like send letters to INS, follow up with your local congress man office, call 1-800 number etc.

My RFE was received by officer #214 on 5/12. Anybody else waiting on this officer for approval after RFE?

RFE-Biograhic

I Received an RFE for G-325A Biographic info..
PLUS
Evidence of lawful admission and continued maintenance of status prior to Jan 1997 (which is the year I arrived in US)
(I am unable to reason this is being asked as I have not been to any country prior to 1997..)
PLUS
-- passport current and old copy
-- copy of all i-797
-- copy of i-20
-- copy of i-94
The same for my spouse.

I have changed job after more than an year of applying I-485 (not filed AC21)
currently employed in similar job - no prob.

I have two questions Would really appreciate your responses.
1. Should I submit employment letter though they have not asked for it.
(The biographic info has to be filled with new employer info)

2.What should be the response to [ Evidence of lawful admission and continued maintenance of status prior to Jan 1997 (which is the year I arrived in US) ]

RFE for medical (TB) and EVL

It's my (and my wife's) turn to get a RFE.

RFE is for medical evaluation, specifically the copy of the medical form came highlighted on tuberculosis skin reaction. I had the test done, but apparently the civil surgeon I used forgot to tick the "no reaction" box.

They also want a pretty much standard EVL. In case of my wife they just want an EVL from the primary applicant's (me) employer. No medical mistakes in her case.

I have called several times to #800 number.
they told currently TSC is processing for 7th Jan 2002.

Since my date is 15th Jan 2002 (only 7 days gap), still I have to wait until
TSC will go to date 15 th Feb 2002 date (1 month after my date)

After that only they can put inquiry.

Still now I have not contacted congressman & senator.

I will go to them once TSC data will touch my date.

Because they might say the same thing. but I want atleast TSC date to touch my date.

This is sad

This is so sad, its almost funny! Now you cannot complain after 60 days because now its marked as received on June 21st. So INS can conveniently wait for another 60 days with no action..

Too bad they cannot be sued on such stupidity!

Case Transferred after RFE

I was informed that our cases were tranferred to Memphis from Texas. How long will it take for Memphis Office to schedule an interview? I am kind of worried after waiting for so long...Please share your thoughts and I will really appreciate it!
