2007 Applicants and Their Interview Experience...

In the immortal words of Rodney King, can't we all just get along?:)

If I had a loved one whom I haven't seen in a long time (spouse or children, in particular), I would go anywhere in the world to see them, even if there was a reward on my head in that place.

I think it's fine either way, and as I've been saying, really nobody's business to judge except the individuals involved.

Fine, it may be possible to meet with loved ones in a different place, but what if a person has dead relatives buried in the country from which they escaped?

I see this thread going on a Zombie tangent now, just like that one on Arlington.:)

My mom was a refugee after WW2 and after 50 years she returned to her home town (now in Poland) and visited the house she grew up in as a child. She had no intention of moving back, had no family there , but visited anyways as part of a wish to return one day. It goes to show that you can never take away the human spirit of wanting to relive old memories , no matter how much things have changed.

Now since it is about elecation time and I think geetha1 is really eligible to take uncle Gonzo's place, we should all vote for her.(Just keep in mind that job offer doesn't come with family vacation time)

*We should make it mandentory for everyone to post their timeline in the signature section!

Nimche,
Congratulations!

How did you know that the June Oath ceremony is on the 25th? Any place to check the future ceremonies - or is it something you learnt from fellow forum members?

Do we know if San Diego will have a July-4 ceremony?

I have my interview on the 17th of June and I may have business travel for early July. Does anyone know if there will be 2 cermonies in July in San Diego?

Regards,
EC3

Could you post your timeline in signature, Please?

I asked the officer and he said there is one in June 25th, this was during my interview. I have never been able to find any schdule for San Diego but per officers in San Diego's DO, there is one every 20thX of each month. I am not sure about 4th of July, but I hope for you.

or how about "My naturalization oath ceremony is at Neverland ranch..do you think it's safe to go?"

Vorpal,
How did you let Bobsmyth go ahead and pass you in number of the posts. I am little worry for him.

:D Sorry Nimche. We keep dragging your thread deeper and deeper into the mud. This should be your victory lap.

Don't get me wrong, but I created this thread only for geetha(1) to express herself. My interview experience is not as important as me being a refugee.
I am cool with it

Brilliant! :D:D

I compose poems about USCIS too, but they're only appropriate for the walls of bathroom stalls.:D

So it is you writing all those haiku poems around NYC public bathrooms ending with the signature : "For a good time call Chertoff at 1-800-375-5283" :D

Stop thinking too much geetha1; your mind is cooking up all kinds of accusations based on nothing but fear and xenophobia. If you have taken the time to follow this forum you would have noticed that Nimche will be meeting his wife in Berlin, so just chill and let him be.

Bobsmyth, thedeepsea and others,

Just why? Just why are you answering? Answering or even responding angrily is the way to feed a troll.

Ignore is the best way and only way these sort of troll posts can be put to rest on online forums.
