Yes. Your's case is taking bit too long. No idea what is going on. but As per the forums most people got their EAD/AP approvals in between 30 and 50 days. I recently saw some people who got thier EAD approved in < 15 days, Strange! Wait for another 3 to 4 working days and ask your attonrney to call UCCIS.

count me in...iam in the same damn crapy situation.
I called VSC on this issue couple of times and for 765 applciation ...lawyer dont need to call...we can call....they are saying that its still under processing.......god knows what they are processing..............damnit...this is so depressing.

let do one thing....lets call VSC ....and than crosss...what kinda response each of us got in regard to the delay with the EAD....otherwise this thing seems so frustating....god knows what happens with 140???


let me know if oyu guys are ready for that ??

here are the instructions.......follow them and it will take u to VSC directly
let me know as soon as u talk and i will talk .........



1-800-375-5283
Press 1 (for english),
press 2 (for existing case),
press 6 (for case statues etc),
then press 1( for knowing your receipt no.),
enter the receipt # to get the automated response saying blah blah blah and also at the end saying this is the most upto date information on your case and our customer the same info national customer service agents have (i totally agree with this).
Then choose to continue to the next step "press 3" . choose 3
Listen to the options-
Option 4 "if you feel if you submitted together and one of the applications is left out and not processed (don't remmember the exact message text ..but something about companion case "

You get transferred to VSC after choosing option 4.
 
It's a total waste calling them. I just got off the phone and they do not tell you jack! I was told they are processing cases from June 2005. So, it will take another month or 2 before I can see my approval. I told her i know of cases that were filed in July and Aug 2005 and were approved. She seemed surprised, but told me the processing dates are as indicated.

Hence, I can come to no conclusion based on what I was told. You can give it a shot as well and see what they say. I have the feeling they will give you the same crap!

I dont think this call make sense unless otherwise you pass the dates? Just before I call to find my I-140 status, he asked straight forward when did you applied? If the dates passed your ND than this people can help to expidite our case.
The assosiate did not tell anything about my case and he ask me to check the case online.

For those of you who had received AP Approval - What is the validity period for AP ? Does it expire after any time frame ?

Guess what?? i had th hear the exact same words as u did....................this is going no where.........she says they are working FIFO basis and i explained her that people got there ead's and 140 approved in about 15-30 days time frame....and not just one or two....but couple of them and she says she cannot attest to that...but she says they are doind FIFO.....WHAT CAN WE DO.....

I just got call from my friend, his case is apporved today.
here his details

EB2: substitute labor PD: 11/2000
I-140: RD 06/10/05 ND 06/16/05, AD:07/28/05
EAD: RD 06/10/05 ND 06/16/05, AD:07/12/05
AP: RD 06/10/05 ND 06/16/05, AD:07/12/05
FP (Self and Spouse) ND 09/01, FP done: 09/08
I-485: RD 06/10/05 ND 06/16/05, AD:09/16/05 (Email update Case Approved) :)

woohoo!! Don't know about that I hope my luck continues. Yes I received 3 copies of my wife's AP. A :) Still waiting for my EAD card and AP...

Hey guyz - Itz been more than 20 days since my ND and I haven't received a single LUD on any of the applications. Do you think itz strange ?

Common! MainGC - Its only 20 days and its not at all a strange.
You might have some news by Oct 1st/2nd week.
 
Laborbadhi, what is this we have similar 140 /485 RD and ND dates. When do you think we will see 140 approvals.
It been more than 2 months.

earlier I thought USCIS is waiting for visa bulletin and once visa bulletin is published they approve boh 140 and 485 together.
But now that hope is shattered. I hope they clear atleast 140 fast, and ofcoruse EAD and AP's.
