EAD extension!

Hi Folks,

My wifes EAD extension has been approved. Following are the details.
EAD Extension RD was June 24th and AD July 6th. It just took two weeks for her approval.

Did you apply through E-File ?

I have a RD date of 5/1/2006, yet no approval for EADs.

Any one who is also awaiting EAD renewals?

still waiting too

am waiting on 1st ead (for self and hubby), not renewal. seems strange that i still haven't received my approval given my rd for ead is 6/16. looks like for most people, it's taking only about 2 weeks. starting to get really worried now :(...what to do?? :confused:

Waiting for EAD Renewal

I did a paper file. Fedexed my application for me and my for EAD Renewal on 7/7. Havent heard anything yet including RD/ND. Also, the checks havent been cleared yet. Should I be worried or is this normal?

Any guesses on how India EB2 will move for Aug 2006?
Read on Murthy's website that EB2 visa for 2006 fiscal year for India are over. Fresh batch will now only be issued after Oct 1, 2006. Hope the dates starts moving then.

I E-filed EAD/AP for me and my wife.
E-filed date 06/27.
LUD's 07/03,07/08,07/10

these LUD's probably are for getting my support documents and recieving my FP's

Will keep you guys informed of any events

hi all,
does 1st time EAD require biometrics (fingerprints)? wondering why mine is taking so long and really worried now. noticed that for most people in the forum 1st time EAD takes only about 2 weeks.
any ideas anyone?

Not true. If you filed in Vermont, it is taking time... just wait ...
 
really? are you sure defrag?

sure i am waiting (anxiously!) since i don't see another alternative.

but are you sure it's not true that others are getting EAD in about 2 weeks from vermont? 1st, my own sister's 1st EAD only took 10 days (weekend included), this i saw with my own eyes. 2nd check the following from other posts in the forum:

i could look up many others i saw in the forum, but don't want to waste time. i know for a fact i have seen several with 1st EAD being approved in a record time.

just wondering and very worried now as to why mine is taking this long. probably just my usual luck :mad:

will appreciate any insight you guys/gals have!!

EAD approved

There was a LUD in the morning of 7/17. Later in the day our EADs got approved.

ND:5/22, filed paper based.

Here is the status update of my 485(EB-2) application filed with nebraska service center.Can someone please tell me what it means?

"On July 17, 2006, a welcome notice was mailed for this case. If 30 days have passed and you have not received this notice. Please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283 during business hours."

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case
status results listed above, or if you have not received a decision or
advice from USCIS within the projected processing time frame*, please
contact the National Customer Service Center.

National Customer Service Center (800) 375-5283.

*The projected processing time frame can be found on the receipt notice
that you received from the USCIS"

You will get another email notice with approval of 485 in < 10 days.

EAD approved - filed self online

RD:06/26/06 ND:06/27 LUD:06/28,06/29,07/03,07/06,07/08, AP: 07/17 (Both)

Are you sure ??? probably you are.It's kinda hard to believe :)
