Hope i can get mine done. It sucks that i have a LUD and then nothing. Anyway i don't want an RFE. Are you from a big firm ? I mean otherwise people get A2P RFE's

What is the LUD and its significance?

Folks,

Please pardon my ignorance. I tried looking through several pages but found no explanation for LUD ( my guess -- Last Update Date ) -- Is that correct?

Where can I find it?
My lawyer has filed the 140 last month and we received a receipt notice with the date of 10/21/2005.

LUD on 140/485

I got LUD's on 140 and 485 for the 2nd consecutive day today without any message change. Is this because of the address change that I reported recently? can you guys guess whats going on in my case? Deatils in the signature.
 
I got LUD on all my Applications except on 140 today 11/15.no Msg change.Probably Address change updation.
least happy my address change had an LUD :)

I have noticed there is a big gap between your RFE issue date and received date. Is it because you have responded late or they delayed to process? And also what is the RFE on your 140. Appreciated for your response.

December dates have progressed. EB2 at july 2000.

I have friends whose priority dates are after july 2000, and whose Green Cards have been approved since a year or so.

Murthy.com anticipates a big delay in cases with PD after april 2001 : a lot of illegals applied because of some law to make them legal. So unless the number of GC quota is increased, people with pd after april 2001 will have a long wait.

What I don't understand is that how come all my friends with a much later PD have got their GCs a year back !

Thank you. Company had got an extension to reply to RFE. It was for ability to pay.
 
Because then the PD was not retrogressed. For EB2, it got retrogressed on 10/1 / 2005.

YES, am from a good and medium sized organisation. I talked to my attorney yesterday - per her, 3 cases (140s) approved yesterday from same company in filed in June 2005.

Looks like VSC is approving June 2005 cases actively (mine was June 2005 case too).

Friends,

What kind of issues will I face with I140 filing with pre-approved labor when the companies have changed?

I have a clear record and the company is also got a good record. However, the company I joined ( and have the pre-approved labor ) has now been bought by a bigger company.

The pre-approved labor is in the name of the old company which I had joined but the I-140 has been filed with the name of the new company that has bought my old company?

Should I be concerned about this?

But they (April 2001 illegals) do not fall under EB2, probably EB3 or lower.

I-140 Approved 50 days back & now got a New notice of updation.

Current Status:

An amended notice on this case was mailed on November 10, 2005. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.


Can any one have any idea, what this notice can be after approval.
Please tell me, i am very upset from it.

My 140 was filed on Aug 23rd. Hope I can get mine approved soon...

Does anyone know if there are any difference between EB1&EB2 for 140? Mine was filed under EB2.
