they tell more on a conf call? how is it different than we calling and talking to rep

Immidude74: Thanks Machi. My friend always used to say Mama. We call him Mama. 13/05 was a typo. I meant Dec 13' 05 was my 140 notice date.

Its same thing. By doing conf u also listen to what officer is informing about ur case . Remember only Employer or HR can talk and find out about 140 with immigration officer and not the applicant.

Congrates whatstheheck.. ur 140 approval was real quick. My case is pending for more that 180 days. I filed just did concurrent filing on 29th of Sept.. Can somebody suggest me what should I do?

for 140 it is necessary, but with 485 is it any different if u called

Thanks AJ and Amagilaj for your suggestions and my company follks are going to arrange a conf. if they do not get any response to the letter that was sent by attorney..

I did confirm with my employer that they did sent the original copy of labor..it is really strange that they are not even providing any status...I am keeping my fingers crossed now..
 
Hi, I know these have been asked. But I don't see them. Can someone pls kindly tell me: 1. How can I know LUD? 2. Where is the "tracker" and how to get it?

Call up VSC

Checkmate

VSC's processing dates for I-140 for Eb2 and Eb3 is past your I-140 filing date. Call Your lawyer/ employer and ask them to call VSC to find out what is happening.

Hello Friends:

I applied my I 140 on Dec 6th 2005 and was waiting on this and got a email which says additional information required (RFE) and its the big hurdel because it is Ability to pay in 2001 as my labor was filled in 2001.

My company is not doing good and am getting 45 k per year my labor application was for 70 K i don't know whats going to happen.

Was any body in the same situation before, and if yes what do you think will happen.

My lawyer id good but he is on vacation and will return after couple of weeks.

Please give me some input on this i am on H1 B visa and my visa will expire on Sep 2006 final i will have to go for a extension and was waiting if can get this approved so can get 3 years extension instead of 1 year.

Please give your opinion as it matters a lot to me.

First comdown, It is not ref on your labor, that is good part of it.
It is a regular ref nothing to panic, some time the employers just play on our life, for just to delay approval, Make sure they respond properly. mean time talk to a hardcore immigration lawyer, get their guidence.
that 70K should be paid after 485 approval only, I know people getting 42k were got i-140 approved with ref. Hope you will also get approved.

I have 4 LUD already:

Any idea what might be going on?

The 1st 140 was filed concurrently with 485 in Sep 2005 (PD Sep 2005, EB2)
The 2nd 140 was filed in Jan 2006 (PD June 2002, EB2)

Both 140s are currently Pending.

Is it possible to port the 485 to the 2nd 140? If yes, what is the procedure to do so?

EB3- i485 approvals in 2001?

Did anybody get their I-485 approved in EB3 category having 2001 priority dates from RETRO countries? I am curious becos eventhough the current priority date for India is Feb01 for EB3. I have not seen approvals for anybody close to Yr 2001 in this forum.

Finally my GC journey is over. Received the plastic card today in mail. 485 was approved on the 03/27/2006.

In my case my company , filed 2 applications for 140, one was filed in the month of June 2005 and anohter in Sept. 2005, but we got approval for june 2005 filed application in the month of oct 2005 , and in jan 2006 the second application get approved .

but my company's lawyer requested VSC to withdraw the second approval , as my first application was already approved ,
we received the notice with changes

i think you should wait for atleast one approval
