thank you for your response, I will try giving emails to my attorney as you said. i hope PD will be current soon because of the unused visas in previous years and the new propossed bill.

EAD Approved

EAD approved both for self and spouse. Not sure what will be the effect of the RFE.( Hopefully none). Still waiting for Letter of RFE.

Question to experts: As per my Attorney, she still didn't get the Notice Letter for my I140(FYI: I got the LIN number from back of check). What should I do? She thinks since she didn't get the I140 Notice receipt its too early to get RFE. Please advise.
 
I see a new LUD for today for my 140 but no change in msg. I am just hoping for a quick approval now. Keeping my fingers crossed for approval and no action on 485 app for now. My FP is schedule for 11/23
 
I think she will get the RFE notice eventually.

Keep looking for the change in message for the 140, since I've read that sometimes the LUD changes but the message changes only after a day or two.

How long( no of business days) it took for your RFE to be received by the Attorney?

I did not get rfe on my 140.

I think dcmetro and other people who got rfe's on 140 can answer this.

I-140/485/EAD/AP RD: 7/20/05

I-140 LUD: 7/26/05(self)

AP LUD: 09/30/05 (self,RFE photos received)
EAD LUD: 09/27/05 (self,RFE photos received)

Bio metric: code 3- 10/02/2005 (me & wife)

I-485 LUD: 10/4/05 (self)
I-485 LUD: 10/4/05 (wife)

AP LUD: 09/14/05 (wife, approved)
EAD LUD: 09/21/05 (wife, approved)

11/07/05 - calles USCIS and started enqurity on I140 and it
takes one month to get the feedback)


Any one knows why delay on my I140?

The first lud on 485/140/EAD/AP does not mean a lot. It just means that they acknowledge that they have received that application and will process it in near future.

Why u did not get any lud after 7/26 - I dont really know. It's really strange. It really should either show approved or rfe lud.

You may also try posting this question in texas, california and vermont service centers 140 forums.

AP E-mail

I applied 485/140/EAD/AP for my wife and myself. My wife got following e-mail message from USCIS which does not not make sense to me.


Application Type: I131 , APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT

Current Status:

On November 9, 2005, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued.


Can anyone help me what this means.

This is the same message that I got on my AP. I interpreted it as approval ( there is no reason to deny AP except for when an applicant's 140 or 485 is denied).

Another update.

My office buddy, who had filed 140 at NSC under EB3 category - got his application approved in about 1.5 months.

This seems to be weired, since the official dates on the USCIS website shows they are processing 6/1/2004. He had filed his application in October 2005.

Anyway - I think this is good news for EB3 folks.

Did USICS send AP approval to you or to your attorney????

Ajoo: AP approval and document is sent to attorney and EAD is sent directly to applicant. I got it from my attorney as well
 
Hmmmmm.

I have not received the AP yet.

But in a reply to my earlier mail, paralegal told me that AP, EAD and 485 approval are sent directly to the applicant. Only 140 approval goes to the attorney.

It does not make sense to send AP approval to attorney.

Does the generation of fingerprint notice cause a change in I-485 LUD? I haven't received the notice or had a change in LUD but am curious....

My EAD was approved couple of days ago but no approval yet on AP (though LUD has changed the last three days).
