Well, maybe its the way they fill out the form then. In my case, EAD came to me while AP was sent to lawyer. I would have logically thought both EAD and AP should go to applicant themselves.
 
I know once you get FP/Bio done, you generally get a lud for 485. Not sure if there is lud for even generation of FP notice.

Your AP would get approved soon (although with weired message that ajoo has reported some posts ago). Dont worry.

I was able to get hold of my attorney. she told me that this means AP is approved for my wife and it will be send directly applicant.
She said that EAD/AP goes to applicant.

Let's see...................

My I-140 got approved on Nov 8 and EAD on 9th.

11/07/05 - calles USCIS and started enqurity on I140 and it
takes one month to get the feedback)


Any one knows why delay on my I140?

Processing dates at NSC (11/15)

AP LUD Updated twice

AP LUD was updated yesterday and today for both myself and spouse with no change in message. Any others have seen similar Updates?
 
AP approved

LUD changed for three days around the EAD approval last week and then AP was approved yesterday. The message is the same ambiguous one others received: "On November 15, 2005, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued." The EAD cards arrived last week itself. Next step is to wait for Biometrics notice.........

We owe to Rajiv Khanna and Team for maintaining this site. It did help me out quite a bit about GC processing, what to expect and when. With that lot of mental peace. Still waiting for EAD cards. Hoping they will arrive sometime this week. Do they come in Express courier or regular mail?

Also Haven't heard back from Attorney yet. She still didn't get my I140 receipt notice. Planning to wait for few more days before I bug her again. Is it advisable to call NSC directly or is it better to go through attorney for follow-up?

I totally agree with you on your comment about this website. I almost knew nothing, before I became a regular visitor here. After visiting it, I realized the flaws that my attorney had made. Moreover I became aware of a ton of options, which my attorney pro-actively would have never told me (in fact my attornies were initially resisting my efforts to file a new EB2 application or substitute an EB2 for me). We owe a lot to Rajiv.

Dont worry about EAD. They will come. For me - they came after a week of approval by regular USPS post.

Regarding 140 - my thinking is you should wait for a week more, for your lawyer to receive it. But this is your call.

Thanks both for your replies.

I was talking about the initial receipt notice of I140 filing. She mentioned that she received receipt notices for EAD/AP/485 but not I140. I got the LIN number from the back of the check. As per the Status, they recieved it on 10/17. Its been a month. meanwhile as mentioned earlier I have noticed an RFE on 11/4. I am not worried yet.

But I decided to wait for another week, before I make any inquiries myself or through attorney.

ok. Well, your lawyer should have surely got it by now. Or else you can call the 800 number and ask them to re-send. Although it would not serve much value since u know they have it since they already sent a RFE. Just have your lawyer concentrate on getting the right response on your 140. Thats imp. Once its approved, u would'nt even care about 140 (or its receipt) then. :)
 
Anyone received the FP/Bio notice.

Has anyone (with ND of sept/oct) received FP/Bio notice? I know dcmetro and higcoptimist have received it. But did anyone else receive it?
