i just want to share some thoughts to our forum members so that they can know better info

FP Notice Received

Received the FP notice in mail today.FP ND: 02/28/2005; FP Scheduled Date: 04/15/2005 at Newark, NJ.

Please update this in the tracker. Please also update my AP approved date as it is incorrect in the tracker.

I dont know how they process the cases but my guess is they probably categorize it by occupation and PD both. My PD is Sept 2002 and I did get FP notice scheduled for april.

Please if someone has any input about the way VSC processes the cases, do share.

Can i apply for I-140/485/EAD/AP

Hello Friends,

I'm new to this forum. I wish to have your suggestions regarding my GC case.

I would be leaving from U.S after completing my 6 years of H1-B. I'm not eligible to get 7th year H1-B extension since my LC case was not applied before 365 days of 6th year completion and LC is also pending.

My question is..

If my LC gets approved after my 6th year of H1-B visa completion date and i'm out of U.S and staying in my home country, will i be eligible to file I-140/485/EAD/AP from outside U.S or i can't file for I-485 and have to opt for CP.

FP Notice Received @Boston ASC on 04/14/05

We received FP notice for myself and my wife scheduled on 04/14/05
Also my LC state is MA and country of birth is India.
Can somebody please update the tracker.
 
FP Notification in Virginia

Finally - I received my FP (code 3) notification today in the mail. My spouse and I are scheduled in the Alexandria - VA office on 4/12 for Biometrics.

My I140 is not approved yet and the LUD never changed on it since the ND. Does the FP mean that USCIS will put my case on hold till I finish with the FP and will not work on the I-140 case till after we do the FP?

I know you guys asked about the delays in Northern Virginia cases - I was concerned too about it. But it seems that our turn will come as well. I hope you got your FP notice as well and if not will get it real soon :D

"This case has been approved. On March 2, 2005, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283."

I know, as always you all will help me with valuable info.

I am right now in india. i'm coming back on 03/12/2005. I have Advance Parole(AP). How will my entry be different? What documents should i have? Right now i only have AP which is valid till 07/15/2005.

What problems i can face ?
Guys, please contribute as much as possible. because i'm a bit scared. And during this process, whenever i was scared, you all were the first one whom i Approached.

Congratulations man. N'joy your post GC life. Keep visiting these forums.

You can come back on AP. Show the AP at POE and if asked mention that you were out of the country when you got your 485 approval. You should be okay. Good Luck. The whole purpose of AP is to permit you to travel when your 485 is pending and when 485 is pending, there is every possibility that it can get approved too right?? So I think, you shouldn't have any problems at POE. So enjoy the rest of your vacation and have a safe trip back.

looks like whoever finished finger prints...they are on the way of 485 approvels.

I am VA filer, my Lawyer called me yesterday that she received my FP notice, I will post the notice date and scheduled date later

Friends,

i received FP notice for myself and my wife. not for my daughter , she is 7 years old. Do I have to expect FP notice for her too ?
