you'll get your GC soon becoz your PD is 2001
all the best

Just curious!!! Shouldn't every one whose PD/485 is current be eligible for 485 approvals. Is there anything special about having PD in 2001, I can understand that 2001 PD will have priority over 2002 PD. Is there anything else.

Getting to VSC

Actually you should have got the address change confirmation sent to your new address. It took couple of weeks for them to send it to me.

As for as getting case details on USCIS is , you have to select option 1(Eng), 2(Already filed), 6(status of case), 1(Have EAC#), enter EAC#, 1(confirm EAC#),Wait till the status is read, 3(next step), 2(notice already sent ), 1(more than 14 days).
This will take you to VSC and you can go ahead from there.
You can explain about your situation, and they would find out and let you know.

Hi,

I called uscis for address change on Feb 3rd and after that my 485 LUD changed 4 times without any message change. I didn't get any address change notification which USCIS use to send. I didn't get FP notice.

I called USCIS to ask about FP notice but they are not giving any information . What could be these LUD changes for?

Anru, How u got your case details?

which option you selected?

Thanks,
Guntur03

For EB2 PD is current hence anyone whoes FP is done can get i-485 approval.

For EB3 PD is of Mar 02 hence anyone whoes FP is done and PD before Mar 02 (PD mentioned on i-140 approval notice) can get approval.

Many cases i-140 and i-485 are approved on the same day (if FP is done).

Note: For EB3 Even if you have filed i-485 it has impact of retrogression. Retrogression has impact on CP cases too. The only advantage for EB3 filers who filed i-1485 before 31st dec'04 is that they can take advantage of AC21 which allows them to change job after 1. i-140 is approved 2. i-485 is pending more than 180 days. This is the reason why we see fast i-140 approvals (Filed before 12/31/04) of EB3 even though PD is not current because once a person is out of job without i-140 approval has to start GC process again which increases backlog.

itec,

what about

labor sub , PD prior to 2002 and 485 ND recent?

EB1 which does not requuired LC PD -> Date on which i-140 is filed

Sub Lab.-> PD-> the date on which the LC was started. Say if you use LC (started on 01/01/1999) then your PD is 01/01/1999 even though you have filed i-140/i1-485 01/02/05.

EB2....

As PD is current for EB2 PD has not impact on case aproval because i-485 is approved FCFS

PD plays important roles for retrogression (even sometimes LUCK plays important role)

I think that USCIS is funny. finished 10 months work in less than 10 days. (they are just trying to fool other by approving some latest cases and claiming current date is Dec 16 2004)

Anyway No FP Notice, No 140 Approval yet.

Clear your cache and try

Nope. It's March 04 2005. I think you are seeing cached files. The Processing dates are as of today.
Clear your cache and try.

Yes indeed the dates have changed today. Try CNTRL + F5 if that does not work then clear your cache. This has happned before with USCIS Processing Dates page.

Also correct me if I am wrong, 140 request need to be done by company attorney.

How do we interpret this Jan 29 2004 date for 485?
We have seen in this forum that many(EB2 and EB3) with ND after that have got 485 approvals.

140 Question..

Friends,

My I140 and I485(EB3-PD FEB 2002) Notice date is OCT 13th 2004.
I got the I485,EAD receipts directly from the USCIS.
EAD got approved and got the EAD Cards.
Recently I received the FP notices from USCIS.
But still my company(Lawer) didn't received the I140 receipt/Approval notice OR Copy of FP or I485.

Anybody had this problem?.I am worried about I140. Please help me guys.
