2004 Consolidated Tracker ONLY (140/EAD/AP/FP/485)

my AP was approved on 02/18/2005. The file mentiones 02/08/2005. When someone (ragkb or jpanchal) gets a chance, please correct it. Thanks guys for keeping this updated.

guys, It is very important to update the tracker correctly or post your info and someone will update it for you. When somebody does it incorrectly it doubles my work and drastically increases the chances of error/missing posts.

Hello everyone,
Sorry for disappearing for so long.
Here is my latest status and I would appreciate if someone would add my details to the excel sheet

Also a correction is needed. My name is in EB3 category(my lawyer had initially told me that they had applied in EB3 which was incorrect) but actually I am in EB2.

Labor approved in Oct 2004(State SC)
EAD/AP/I-140/485 ND: november 24, 2004

EAD AD:Dec 27 2004
AP AD: Feb 6 2005
I-140 AD : Feb 12 2005

April folks.

I remember in early 2002, some cases were treated almost like April 2004 cases. One of the members, rajum, was in that lot. That lot was delayed considerably. Why? No one knows. This is a definite feature in VSC. Some cases of October 2003 faced the same thing and some of the Dec 2003 cases are still hanging. Don't ask me why it happens! I have no idea. For these applicants EAD,AP,FP and 485 - everything is delayed. Let us hope April 2004 guys do not face it. Well, I do not like to comment on negatives of trends that often but I see one more definite patch in 2004 where it looks like an island with respect to processing and wait is growing.

I want to be wrong on this point - I would love to be wrong here.

Going by data that we have, I see a trend that people get FP notice first and then 140 followed by 485. Wish all April folks get the second path - if they cannot get freedom of using AC-21.

FP Notice

Hi guys,

I just got my FP notice in the mail (for me and my wife)...for 15Mar05 - my 140 is still at RFE - waiting for lawyer to get the answer back...wanted to let you guys know that...can I get the FP done even if my 140 is still not approved?

Just from reading this board, I assume this affects not only April 04 I-485 filers, but everyone after that (at least with regard to I-485 processing, FP notices etc). I also recall reading a posting of someone who had called VSC and they told him/her that from April04 onwards I-485 processing (or was it FP?) will be delayed, but I can't find that posting anymore. Anybody remember this?

what documents should be taken to INS office for FP

This is the first time I am posting my details here. I have been reading this forum since three months . I felt this is very useful and I also wanted shre my information.

We (I and my wife) have Received FP notices. We were schduled to go Detriot to give finger prints.

In the notice INS is asking bring FP notice , 485 receipt notice and photo identification .

Can somebody suggest who gone through FP , what other documents should be taken to INS office for safe side and early experience at Detroit center.

I had a general question about I485. Does the category matter when it comes for I485 approval. The reason I am asking that I have not received FP notice yet. My case is non concurrent and my I485 notice date was june 1, 2004. Should I expect FP notice soon?
