I140 Question..

My company applied my I140,485 and EAD(Comcurrent filing) .Receipt date was OCT 7th 2004 and
Notice Date was OCT 13th 2004.
I got the receipts for 485 and EAD directly from USCIS.But still my company didn't received my I140 receipt.
Mine and my wife EAD has been approved on OCT 22nd 2004.We received the EAD Cards.
I spoke to my company lawer regading my I140 receipt.She said that why you are worrying about I140 receipt and she says without accepting your I140 they will not process your EAD.is it true?
My question is will USCIS process the EAD without accepting I140?

Labor:EB3- NJ-RD FEB 2002 AP AUG 2004.
I140/485/EAD: RD OCT 7, ND OCT 13th.
EAD AP: OCT 22

dont worry, 140 receipt goes to your lawyer
yes, that's true without 140/485 applied concorrently they wont process EAD
may be you can file 140 then you can file for 485
but if file only 485 and not 140 they'll issue RFE it seems

so your okay as far now

Lab file Date - 07/2001 (SUB) AD (some time in 2004)
I140 - 06/18/2004 AD ?????
I485 - 07/31/2004 AD ?????

What is the PD in this case and also do they process my I140 based on my I485 ND or I140 ND.

In this case i believe that the PD is 07/2001.

Your PD is the Labor file date. I dont understand your other question... Some people get their 140 approved first and some get both together.
 
FP Notice

Hi,

I got my FP notice yesterday.
FP Date is 25/02/2005.

Please update excel worksheet. Also, please correct my PD as 12/2/2002.

did you checked is that LUD changed for you when they sent FPs to you?

hi Chuyim,

I have heard many cases like this. Best bet for you right now is to call 1800 # and tell them the issue. They might be able to put a note about this name problem in the system.

In addition you can also get it modified when you go to the ASC center for your EAD Finger printing.

Please check with USCIS customer representative. And you should be okay.

with the way things are going(retrogession) I have no clue when we are going to get our FP..
We will wait to see Feb 15 bulletin has some good news for us i mean the Pd change..
The only hope is that I read some articles saying that the don't have visa numbers for this quarter(Jan-mar) ..Thats why the retrogession.
So for the next quarter when visa numbers become available I think dates will move and within 6 months we can expect some processing in our cases.

on 2/2/05 i got my second LUD for my i485 asking for more information,dont got the mail yet(mail out on jan 20 ,05, havent got the mail yet anybody know when i gonna get the mail???????))so dont know what kind of indformation they want.good luck for everybody here

i just saw my LUD changed in 2/3/05 for my 485 Application and not changed in my spouse's case.
dont know why?

PD is feb 2004, EAD/140/AP/485 ND is sept 13,04

I have been following this thread for a few days and got much valuable info. Thanks to all of those who is taking time to keep this thread alive.

Here are my details, if someone could update in the Excel Spread sheet :
Category : EB3
Labor subst : PD Mar 2004
I140/485/EAD/AP : RD 12/01/2004 ND: 12/06/2004

EAD/AP : AD 12/10/2004

I have received the approvals for both EAD and AP on 12/13/2004.

But on 01/31 I have received email from USCIS for me and my husband saying our I131 , APPLICATION FOR BCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT has been approved.

I have checked my status online and it also said the same thing. why would they approve this twice.
Has any one got into this situation before?

My fingerprints were done in late Nov (I don't remeber exact date) but they were recieved by INS on Dec 1st 2004.
 
My 140 got approval

I still can not believe this, just got two sweet Emails from USCIS, my 140 has been approved on Feb 3, 2005. Yes, mine is EB2, the online processing time for EB2 140 still stuck in Dec 2003, as I was preparing for endless waitting for 140, Thank God!!!

My 140/485/EAD/AP all filed on Oct 27 (ND), EAD and AP were approved on sometime mid Nov 2004. So, my 140 took only about 3 months. Does anybody have the same experience? It's the current trend or I'm just the lucky guy?

BTW, I still have not got finger print. My 485 LUD is updated today too.
