I140 Approved today

EB2, EAC 04 013 XXXXX, concurrent filing, RD 10/20/2003, no ref, received email from USCIS, case was approved today, 8/11/04. Updated tracker. :)

Hi,
I got an RFE on June18th, 2004 for my I-140 , it was regarding ability to pay.I-140 get triggered after I applied for EAD on June16th, 2004.My attorney replied to RFE on July 30th,2004.Now today I got my EAD approved,but ther is no update on my I-140 except LUD changed twice on 8/04 and 8/05. My question is approving my EAD means there is no problem with I-140 or there is no relationship between two events.
Any comments will be highly appreciable.

Approving your EAD no way related to your I-140 Approval.There are chances that you may get RFE.
One more thing According to your LUD changes .. you may hear Some information about your I-140 At any time .. May be a week or two.

I485 Rfe

Today I received the copy of RFE from USCIS -

(a) Copy of all pages from your passport
(b) Employment letter with duties


I don't know why they need copy of all pages from my passport??? :confused:
 
I alredy updated RFE details for my I-485 in the excel

Here it is again.I received RFEfor my medical examination. My doctor made a mistake of checking a wrong box instead of another one. My lawyer has replied to RFE on 08/10 and waiting for the status to change once it is received by them.

can you give info regarding Education Evaluation REF. is it regarding 3-year/4 year education. what do you have. 3 year degree or 4 year degree

Thanks. Now I am waiting for my I-485. No finger print notice yet. I have a priority date 4/2000, wish they can go by priority date rather than receipt date.
 
ead validity

VSC is still issuing EAD's with one year validity. There was supposed to a rule effective recently which would allow EAD's for more than a year validity. Can someone share experience of receiving multiple year EADs.

They're only supposed to give out > 1 year EAD's if they feel it will take that long to adjucate the I-485. In some cases it's possible that people are getting 1 year EADs (or even < 1 year) if the VSC feels the GC will be processed that quickly.

That said, I haven't personally heard of anyone getting an EAD for > 1 year yet...

They are mostly issuing 1 year EADs which are valid for 1 year from the date of approval and not the previous valid date. So if you are applying 6 months in advance, you will loose months. I lost 3 months that way, the previous EAD was valid until November' 04 and I applied for renewal in June which got approved in Aug but is valid from Aug'04 to Aug'05!!

Hi, Friends, I really need some advice here. I resigned from my current company last week, and will start my new job soon. I got my EAD approved on June 10 and my I140 approved on May 19th (the date my atterney emailed me at least). I have questions as below:

1. My atterney suggest that although I can work anywhere in US, but my new job should be the exactly the same job categary as my current job. My new job is in the same industry but my title and job description will be slightly different from my old one, will this be any issue for EAD renewal?
2. My atterney were paid by my company. They indicate that they could continue represent me..but I wonder if I could take care of the remaining steps by myself. Will this be possible? The only remaining procedure would be finger print and possible renewal of EAD next year.

My information as follow:
EB3 I/140 I-485 EAD concurrent ND 11/5/03
I-140 approved 5/19 (received the mail)
EAD approved 6/10
finger print ??
I-485 ??

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!!
