Antrppeter,

I dont think RIR/non-RIR matters at I-140 stage however EB category matters. It is EB2 for me
 
Hi ASG2002,
In my case we have submitted all the medicals. I have not received my finger printing notice also as my I-140 was just approved only on 07/26.

But I got RFE on my 485 on 08/02.

sitcom, are you saying that they issued RFE for both I-140 and I-485???? This is the first case I came across in which they issued RFE for both the applications at the same time.....

Please provide us with the information when you get it and lets hope that it is not something major!! Good luck!

can you please tell me how long did it take for EAD approval after you replied to RFE? Can you tell me the pattern of your application?

I had the same RFE. They recd the response on July 12, 04. no news yet. The LUD has now chaged to 08/03. no status change. no LUD change on any other forms.

my reply for EAD Rfe was recd by uscis around may 19,2004 and approval was by july 23, 2004. So almost 2months after replying.
 
Travel Question Help

Hi All

I Have to travel to canada to meet my relative !..but right now i dont have a visa stamped to passport!..But i have EAD/AP.. can i use this to return back to US..but i am still continuing my work in H1 which got extended!..not stamped..
(i know i can get appoinment in canadian us embassy to get stamped!..but it takes time to get appionment)

If any one can tell me
1) will i have problem using AP as i mentionedi reasons to go to india! when applying.

2) will it affect my working status!..i want to continue with H1

ON June 14 : We both got RFE on TRAVELDOC, EAD,
On June 25 : INS GOT THE Doc

AD:Jul 21 2004 on Travel Documents (both)
My wife EAD Approved on : Jul 27 2004

Still waiting on My EAD

No changeds in I140 & I485

Again I got an RFE, this time its for my 485 application. I'm waiting for it, lets see what they have for me now.

New EAD card issuance by USCIS

Has anyone received EAD card with more than one year validity recently. USCIS has established new rule under which they can issue EAD for more than one year.

Please post your experiences here if you received one.
 
EAD E-File Withdrawal

Hi

Has anyone withdrawn an EAD E-file application?
Is it okay to do that?

My lawyers did a paper filing of EAD. I did an e-file on top of it.
My paper filing was processed sooner and i already got my EAD card. I have not received any response to my efile yet.
Any advise as to how to proceed further on this?

What does case transfer to local office means??

All,

2nd EAD's approved on july 31st for me and my wife.
Can someone update the excel sheet please.

I have seen lot of 485 cases getting approved after getting transfered to local office in Newark.... Some of these cases have even the labor filing date of April 2001... someone even do not have any 140 approved...
